I think I may start my profile a bit different. But that is okay, I am a bit of a different sort of girl anyway. I think a quote by Audrey Hepburn might sum it up best:"I believe in pink, I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I am looking for a smart, good man, who has an idea of what he wants out of life and where he is going. My friends say I am kind, loyal, love to laugh and can be down-right silly sometimes. I have no problem laughing at myself, but I do know when to be serious. I have a sense of humor, and I am sometimes a bit sarcastic. I tend to be a little shy at first but I warm up quickly, and I get along with just about everyone. I am interested in many things and love to learn about new places and people. If I don't know where something is, or what something means, I am one of those people who has to look it up. There is always something new to learn and explore.I am in awe of the oceans. I love their beauty and respect their power. I think I might have found heaven on earth while floating in the ocean, during a tropical rain storm with the sun shining, in Grand Cayman. There is nothing like it. Swimming with the dolphins, stringrays, snorkeling or deep sea fishing I am in, as long as I don't have to take the fish off the hook. I ended my trip by jumping in the swimming pool in a new dress and broke my toe. I can be a bit clumsy.No, I am not perfect, far from it. It would be easy for me to tell you a bunch of good things about myself but sometimes it is the less than perfect things about someone that are good to know. I can be indecisive. I stay up much too late, much too often. I can remember all kinds of random, useless facts, or conversations I had years ago but can't find my keys. I can give a presentation in front of hundreds of people on ten minutes notice but, once in a while, get shy and turn into a 13 year old girl when I meet a guy I really like. Lately, I have started getting addicted to Big Bang Theory, my sense of humor might be a bit twisted.I guess I am just looking for someone that appreciates me for me, even if I try to do the right thing and fail. Someone that does not mind when I get a bit quirky and sing teenager songs in the car because it makes me smile or understands when I show up at 10:00 at night with Chinese food for dinner because I got stuck at work or school and, even though it is not ideal, I am still there to see them and make them a priority the best that I can when life does not work out the way we plan. Favorite Things: I like to go to the movies, DIA even watch some sports (Go Tigers.) I love to do anything around the water. I like cooking (not that I am great at it, but why let a little thing like lack of talent stop me) and like many kinds of food from Middle Eastern to Thai, just not seafood. I like to read, I would love to learn to dance a little better one day. I enjoy volunteering and spending time with my friends and family doing just about anything. I have a four year old Maltese.
