Woman. 37 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 34-44
I moved here from CA summer '12 and so far I really can’t complain.About me: I teach preschool during the day and write paranormal/ horror novels at night. I just enjoy doing activities with the kids and I have a slight fascination with the morbid.I haven’t slurped down any alcohol in over ten years. Someone had to be the designated driver and alcohol would usually just get me into trouble. I enjoy getting all dolled up, going out to bars and having a good time, I just don’t need the alcohol to do it. Plus, my friends and I had also moved onto the rave scene well before we had turned 21 and alcohol wasn’t exactly the party favor meant for that type of action if you catch my drift. I had a lot of fun and do not regret any of it. Have no fear I haven’t touched any of that stuff either for over ten years nor do I have any interest in rehashing old times. My favorite part of my personality is my sense of humor. It is seldom politically correct, usually facetious, but it is always all in good fun. Anyone who takes offense wasn’t destined to be in my circle anyway.I can also say that I am not stubborn, only determined. I am not a witch, only a smart aleck. I am not callous, only facetious. I am not high maintenance, only selective. I am not shy, only reserved. I am not negative, just a realist. My friends say that I can be a little prickly or ornery at times. Side effect of PMS I’m afraid. Have no fear it only happens once a month and is usually directed towards stupid people. I enjoy all types of music.I admit I love my television. I use it as back ground noise as I get my lessons prepared for the next week. Plus after working with other peoples’ kids for a chunk of the day, I want to not only be entertained, but to not have to think either. I like anything from The Big Bang Theory to Game of Thrones to Sons of Anarchy to Once Upon a Time. As long as the story line is good or the characters are awesome then I am pretty much there. As far as movies go I like the paranormal, suspense, thriller types the best. I’ll do some sci-fi and some comedy, but it would really depend on the show itself and who is acting in it.My interests may bore others, but they please me as they should since I am the one doing them. I am a gym rat and I want to get back into my dance classes. I also am anxious to fire up my miter saw and start doing something with this house. Ever so often I will fire up the XBOX. Sorry, no Call of Duty for me. I like Dance Central, Rise of Nightmares, and I wouldn’t mind getting into Rock Band. I find the games are more fun when you have someone to laugh at, I mean play with…..Most of the time I like to kick back and relax but when the mood strikes I wouldn't mind: learning swing and the two step, going hiking or spending a weekend up in a forest, though I am speaking of a cabin with all the amenities and not a tent with a stick digging into my rear as I try to sleep. I LOVE antiquing! And I go for old formaldehyde bottles as opposed to dainty teacups. I also I wouldn't mind going to classic car shows, the horse races and maybe even a Bronco's game, but NOT in the dead of winter.I guess I could say more about myself, but then what would we talk about? And then this leads me to what I am looking for. In a nutshell I am looking for some really good friends.’t coming to visit anytime soon. Important qualities to me in a friend are someone who is honest, there for you, and of course, doesn’t get easily offended. I’m afraid we would have to have at least a few common interests as well.I will close by saying that I wouldn’t be totally opposed to a relationship of a sort. I have noticed that when I am not looking for something that is when it chooses to appear. At this point I am not interested in a full-…)One thing for sure, I am definitely not interested in dangling from a hook until someone better comes along. That is what our teens and twenties were for. I guess what I am saying is just be real because I am. TTYL! Hmmmm...... I guess it would all have to depend on the person.....

Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
I am a successful, single mom who adores her child. I'm looking for someone with similar values, morals and beliefs, who is devoted to their family, but looking for that special someone to share some time with. I thoroughly enjoy my job as a Tax Accountant for a small communications firm, but strive for work life balance. I love spending time with my daughter, my family & friends, singing Karaoke (corny I know, but fun) and listening to country music. I have a strong faith in God, and I'm looking for someone who shares similar beliefs. I have been single for awhile so I could concentrate on raising my daughter, and I'm ready to date again. I like to camp, hike, cook out, travel, and try new things. Recently jumped on the fitness train and have completely transformed my body. Eat healthy most of the time and I just started CrossFit and I love it! I'm looking for someone fun that loves life and wants to find someone fun to share my time with. I enjoy most sports, including but not limited to basketball (go Mavs), baseball (go Rangers), but I LOVE FOOTBALL, especially COWBOYS Football. Born and raised a Cowboys fan, and will die a Cowboys fan. I'm a fiercely loyal fan, so if you can't handle that, not your girl. I don't mind if you like another team, that's just fun competition.I can assure you I look just like my pictures, in fact, I've been told I look better in person. I'm no 10, but I'm not out to deceive anyone. My profile pretty much spells out what I'm looking for. More than anything, someone who can be consistent. Not float in and out when it's convenient for them, with no regard for me and my situation. I'm a single mom and don't share my daughter. I have an amazing support network of friends and family, so I have plenty of opportunity to get out and have adult time and date, but it just requires a little planning and flexibility. On occasion I like to be spontaneous, but those opportunities only present themselves during special circumstances. I guess I'm looking for what everyone is looking for: That special someone to share my life with. I'm in an amazing place personally and professionally and I'm ready to share my life with someone special. I'm not fake or pretentious at all and I think I'm a lot of fun to be around. So if this sounds like something you are interested in, let's chat.Four Guiding Principles:1. Do as little harm to others as possible.2. Be there always for your friends.3. Be responsible for yourself and ask nothing of others.4. Grab all the fun you can.If someone really wants to be a part if your life, they will make an effort to be in it. So don't bother making a spot in your heart for someone who doesn't make an effort to stay.Don't dwell in the past. Don't worry about the future. Live in the moment. Trust in the purpose of your existence and let meaning come to you *** straining to discover it. When life throws a hard punch, roll with it, but roll with laughter. If you made it this far, I must be at least a little interesting. Give me a shout and let's see where it goes. My first date would include dinner and drinks someplace social, but not too loud, where we could talk and decide if we want to get to know each other further.Lunch dates are also really great first dates. Short and simple if it doesn't work out, but just enough to find out if you want to give it a shot.
