I am a genuine, fun, outgoing girl who has been known to kick some serious Jeopardy ass. (Yeah, you heard me.) I am fit and try to eat well but not a health nut as I think it is important to have balance in life (and by 'balance' I mean chocolate). I am comfortable in a ponytail, jeans and a hoodie and enjoy going for nature walks, but also enjoy dressing up for a fun night out on the town. I am not a camping-in-a-tent kinda girl. I am...Suburb Girl! You are a fun, honest, and intelligent guy. A good communicator who is serious and responsible when need be, but also knows how to let loose and have some fun. You have a career that keeps you busy, but also have room in your life for a partner. As far as children go, I have a great 20yr old daughter who is out on her own now so I am hoping to meet someone who is at a similar stage in life (has either no children or older ones.) Cheers!PS. So I was thinking...(which usually causes trouble, btw) Why do I have nothing but clear, close-up pictures of MYSELF on my dating profile? (Am I vain or what??) Figuring that this may be the problem here, I've decided to take these photos down and replace them with one blurry-iphone-mirror-shot of myself and 7 photos of my car and my cat. Great plan, right?? I thought so too! (haha, that was a hint guys)****PS AGAIN*****Guys don't seem to take hints well. Please have a few, clear photos of YOURSELF. NOT your dog. NOT your truck. NOT your photo from the Witness Protection Program (ie. blurry, 20ft away, holding a big fish, wearing sunglasses, a hat and hipwaders...) I have photos. You will have photos. Thank you. A coffee and a chat, perhaps?

Hi there. Looking for an easy going great guy that likes to have FUN to spend time with and enjoy life. I'm not about to rush into something I am not comfortable with, but if you're the right guy I'm all for rushing in. FOR COFFEE. :) Haha...let's take it one step at a time. You'll not be sorry. Anticipation is sometimes quite exciting and scary all at the same time! So, I love the outdoors and camping and all that fun stuff. Love to travel and see/do new things. I'm quite adventurous, however also a little on the cautious side! Will play any kind of sport that my body will allow me to. Sumo wrestling is OUT! Enjoy taking in a concert once in a while, my taste in music varies and I'm open to see almost anything except for that trendy boom boom dance type music. Love any new/old rock and even a little country music.I have a full time job and expect my partner to have one too. Sorry...but I have two teenage boys I am responsible for so I really do not need another "little boy" looking for me to take care of him. :) Let's get that part STRAIGHT. I need someone who is just as independent as I am and doesn't need to spend every waking moment with me. Yes, I love to spend as much time as possible with my partner, but there is a definite need for alone time and space. If you agree then that's a great start! If you like to go out once in a while, shoot some pool, maybe have a few drinks then that's also a plus. If you also like to just hang out at home and watch a movie, spend the night or entire weekend just vegging out you might be the one for me. Let's not forget about physical attraction. If I am not attracted to you then it will not work. If you think that is a shallow statement then I apologize, but I'm all for honesty so why lie about that?!Let's talk soon. :) open to suggestions...don't say "let's go for a drive"...CREEPY!

At the risk of starting off on the wrong foot, I'm rather mundane. Work and home to the kids are my usual routine, so looking to add a little something to the mix. The white knight idea isn't really expected, not even close, but decent, kind, likes kids (rather important) and not totally self-absorbed would be good. The tag is set to "dating", but I'm not going to rule out anything more if the chemistry is right. As my kids have learned, sarcasm is a strong ingredient in my language. Don't expect to be spared just because I don't know you. It is rarely meant to actually upset someon, but those few times are surely justified!Breaking the "girlie" norm, I do enjoy video games (not shooters, though) and can definitely hold my own in the combat ones. Board an card games are fun too, and Movies - horror, psychological thriller, action, comedy, drama, musical, animated...did I miss any? As long as it's good, I can watch just about anything. And to be honest, I have seen more than a fair share of terrible movies, especially of the horror genre. Although they do have a certain appeal along the line of must-watch-just-to-see-how-bad-it-gets.Music - again, I'm open to a lot of styles. Current faves include P!nk, fun, Queen and Shinedown. So now that you've read the "useful information", if you've actually made it this far, maybe you're intrigued enough to drop me a line and see how conversation goes. Unfortunately, the chat option often doesn't work for me, so *** more reliable. Thanks for reading, and maybe we'll chat :)No one-nighters (I do have morals), party boys (I'm too old for that) or egocentric twits (trust me, you're not that awesome). If that is you, please don't waste the typing. Let's see, safe choices would be tea/coffee/other drink of choice to chat or a few rounds of pool. Something where we can choose to extend things if it's going well, or we can easily and politely back out if it's not. Dark alleys or distant locations are definitely out, just to clarify :P
