Starting a new chapter.... I pretty much know who I am and what I am lookin for in someone. I live my life a bit different which means a lot of my time is spent on "giving" back to people. You create your own happiness and that is one of mine. If I don't respond please don't take it personally. My kids have now moved out and are the most important people in my world. I have a lot of depth to me and need someone that will stimulate my mind first. If we don't connect on that level it most likely won't work out. I am a HUGE hockey fan and though I love going out doing things I love being home. I am not a bar person but would rather pack up and sit by a fire and have some drinks. Camping and fishing is way more exciting to me then a shopping mall and I'm not high maintenance so if your looking for that type of woman you might be in the wrong fishing hole. Humor is a must because it creates happiness in everyone. Love a guy that has no problem having scruff on his face and is secure in himself. I'm not in a rush so would like to just get to know someone with no pressure and hopefully find the one that gets me and blows my mind... I don't need fancy things or stuff that you would buy I need a connection that is completely full of depth passion and soul. Happy Fishing Boys :) Love the beach so maybe grab some food, and talk...rain or shine...Awkward calling it a first date maybe just getting to know each other over a bite to eat... I'm not in a rush

Hi there,I'm not going to tell you about the amazing things I've seen/done/eaten in my life thus far. I'm not even going to tell you about how wonderful I can be as a friend or partner. Rather, I'll tell you that I love a good brain massage from a stimulating and intellectual conversation, I can't seem to cram enough time in a day to get through a good book, I feel every fiber of my being when I hear a great song, and I believe that good food/good liquor/good friends/family around the same table is a great way to help you appreciate life. I'm excited about the prospect of meeting someone who can help me re-connect to nature, get outside, and appreciate it's beauty (and help me improve my French). As much as I enjoy a meal in an upscale restaurant, I have to be honest...a dive bar/hole in the wall suits me equally well.I do have an insatiable thirst for learning, and I'm admittedly a political junkie - from that first class in Poli-Sci100, I was hooked. So, if you love the At Issue Panel, think Chantal Hebert is a demi-God, or care to argue against those two things, or discuss any other hot-button current event, I'm your woman.??? After that, I swing every which way except House and Country (though I know the words to too many country songs, sadly). Just to round it out, you should know that I'm not too bad at hockey, soccer, and rock climbing. You must like (or tolerate with kindness and compassion) kids, dogs and cats. Why wouldn't you want to though? They're awesome.If I haven't bored you to death yet, feel free to drop me a line. Let's figure out how far this rabbit hole goes.... Will fill in later
