Princess Leia, not Rapunzel. I tried this site a few weeks ago and have to admit I was disappointed by the shallow results. I am not here for a random shag. I don't need to advertise for that, were that the kind of woman I am. I'm a single mom of one teenage daughter. Her dad passed away a few years ago and I have had one boyfriend since. I have a degree in Anthropology, though I have been an ER veterinary technician for much of my life. So you could say I love people and animals, not necessarily in that order. ;-) I love music, rocks, bones, wood, travel, water... I love making or refinishing furniture and am working on learning upholstery. I sew quite a bit. I enjoy keeping a tidy, comfortable home where people can relax and are well-fed. I am tired of being single, for sure, but mostly, I'm bored out of my skull! I'm self-sufficient. I don't need anyone to take care of my daughter or me. I just want adult conversation and someone to do things with. The caveat is that I don't believe in sex outside of a relationship. So if you think you're going to drop in, with the moon in one hand, stars in the other, and I'm going to cave, forget it. I've been single for almost 4 years. I know what I want. I'm not going to manipulate anybody and I don't want to be manipulated. I just want to have fun, and if it turns into something more, great. While my IQ and education on paper look important, I would much rather be a mother, or working on furniture or taking care of animals. I find a man who can do things that I can't, who can fix things with his hands, who can remain calm in rough waters, who knows what family means and how to take care of one... A man who is a little old fashioned, with integrity, honor and respect, is a man worth his weight in gold. If that man has a relationship with God, I am over the moon. I attend church regularly. I would like to see one of my entrepreneurial projects (or more) take off. Farming and fishing for survival seems like a really great idea right now.; a dream I gave up to be a mother. Currently, I settle for antiquing, but, you know. You've seen the movies.Music: in many languages, classic rock, classic country (love Merle! as did Bob Marley, just so we're clear... Musica nortena, mariachi, cumbias, rock en espanol..... I love martial arts films, and cowboys. I also have a number of tattoos from my younger days. I'm not big on sports, or sitting still watching balls go back and forth for any amount of time, but besides that, I'm up for about anything... Or even a car.     So i have been sitting here wondering his to re-do my profile. I've come up with this plan. Sports....watching live is better than televised. I will cheer you on.
