Looking up (at the stars)I'm pretty laid back. I only keep good people around me. I'm kind of like Superman; I get my energy from the Sun. I like to hike, ride my bike, or just take in some fresh air walking my dog. I like to dance and I like beer, though I'm not really in the get-wicked-drunk phase anymore. Really, I love to smile and be happy. I'm real, I'm honest, I don't sugarcoat a damn thing, and I will always listen before reacting. Im just looking to meet people that have been around the block and know how it is. I'm in school to be a paramedic and I love what I do. I like to be active, and am kind of addicted to the endorphine high, but a good lazy day with a good home-cooked meal (I don't eat out a lot) and a movie or a few episodes of a new series is a night well-spent.Here's where I'm at. I'm in a pretty fantastic place in my head and in my life. Gotta be on your toes to keep up with me.I've never met anyone on any dating site that ever turned into dating or a relationship. I've made some great friends, and I do value that, but the conclusion I've come to is that many people come to places like this as a last resort because they don't seem to have any luck in an in-person setting, and if that's your case, I'm probably not for you. I really need confidence in a person to match mine, and don't seem to be able to handle the self-unaware. I do really well on my own and meet a lot of new people all the time. However, my schedule is fairly regular and so I'm sure there's some folks out there I wouldn't normally cross paths with, but should, and that's who I'm looking to talk to.
