Hi, I'm Jessica. I am currently a substitute elementary teacher because my school isn't hiring full time yet; just waiting for that classroom! I have my bachelors in elementary education and will get my masters as soon as I have a classroom so I'm not too expensive to hire! Trust me when I say I like everything. I will listen to some jazz, flip to pop country (newfound discovery- just not the twangy stuff!), then jam out to Thrift Shop. Every. Time. I. Hear. It.For TV shows I hate to admit it, but I'm a reality show lover. I could also watch Friends all day! The Walking Dead and Mad Men are the main current shows I follow. Other goodies are Raising Hope, Modern Family, New Girl, and Glee. As far as favorite specific books- they are ones in my classroom library- like Hatchet and The Westing Game. Most of the books I enjoy are children's literature! I love hockey. I love going to games! I will gladly go to sporting events and root on your favorite team with you for any other sport, but for hockey it's already set. ;)You should message me if you like to have a conversation with someone that isn't afraid to share their opinion. While I can sit back and listen, I also enjoy being with people that like a girl that has a brain and isn't afraid to use it!You should NOT message me if you only have one picture, or if you just want a booty call. For a first date I like to keep it simple with dinner and drinks, then go from there. Ok, a little about me...I'm a 28 year old single parent with a 6 year old son whom I have all the time. I have my own place, my own car, and I pay my own bills. I'm currently in my last year of school to get my associates in nursing. I've been told that I'm pretty weird but, of course, it's hard to judge myself lol. I think I'm caring, honest, kind, funny, and hard working (though I do admit to playing hookie from time to time). I like being able to carry on an intelligent conversation one minute and then get silly the next - humor is a big stress relief for me and I find a good sense of humor in a guy equally attractive as appearances. In fact, it would be nice to meet someone who has minor flaws just like me (I can be a bit of an obsessive neat freak and I AM that person who will correct your grammar in a conversation...) and who can admit to those flaws.
