About Me

Hi, I'm Jessica. I am currently a substitute elementary teacher because my school isn't hiring full time yet; just waiting for that classroom! I have my bachelors in elementary education and will get my masters as soon as I have a classroom so I'm not too expensive to hire! I originally wanted to be a performer (singing, dancing, acting) and have done numerous shows- and I still have that desire in me! I will gladly get on stage and perform, but don't ask me to sing in person, I get shy!Currently I'm in a production of Rent, so I'm working my way back into musical theatre!I also work at a home decor retail store and tutor elementary kids. On a typical day I'm working, Zumba-ing, or hanging out with friends! Moulin Rouge is amazing. I don't know why but I love the new Casino Royale and Fifth Element. Like any girl I love the Notebook. Anastasia is a must. To be honest I love all movies!However I love all kinds of music and would go to a show by any band or artist. I am a musician so I appreciate all genres. Trust me when I say I like everything. I will listen to some jazz, flip to pop country (newfound discovery- just not the twangy stuff!), then jam out to Thrift Shop. Every. Time. I. Hear. It.For TV shows I hate to admit it, but I'm a reality show lover. I could also watch Friends all day! The Walking Dead and Mad Men are the main current shows I follow. Other goodies are Raising Hope, Modern Family, New Girl, and Glee. As far as favorite specific books- they are ones in my classroom library- like Hatchet and The Westing Game. Most of the books I enjoy are children's literature! I love hockey. I love going to games! I will gladly go to sporting events and root on your favorite team with you for any other sport, but for hockey it's already set. ;)You should message me if you like to have a conversation with someone that isn't afraid to share their opinion. While I can sit back and listen, I also enjoy being with people that like a girl that has a brain and isn't afraid to use it!You should NOT message me if you only have one picture, or if you just want a booty call. I somewhat recently went through a divorce, so if you are a mean person, just don't bother. So also don't feel bad if I don't respond... I am shy on these things... And still healing. For a first date I like to keep it simple with dinner and drinks, then go from there. The first date is all about getting to know the other person as well as seeing if there is a possibility for compatibility and chemistry. If there isn't, at least it was just a meal. If there is, then the dates can become more thoughtful and exciting.

    Hi there... I love going out and exploring new areas or restaurants (so, picky eaters need not apply), but I also enjoy being at home. He must be someone who can keep me laughing and must be willing to try new things. Not sure what will come of this site, so, lets see! A first date would be drinks, coffee, quiet-ish bar, or something where you can sit and talk. Chemistry is super important and either you have it, or you don't.
