About Me

I'm currently a Registered Nurse at a local hospital yet still in school to complete a post-master's program to become a Nurse Practitioner. I should finish in december and plan on going in to palliative care. I own my own home and support myself. I consider myself to have expensive tastes but by no means am I stuck up. While I love the finer things in life, I'm just as happy in a sports bar watching hockey or UFC and drinking some cheap domestic beverage as I am anywhere else.I love to have a good time and always try to make the best of every situation. I have often been told that I'm "too happy" but if this is my only downfall then I must be doing pretty good! I am very family oriented and career driven which is apparently very intimidating to some. I refuse to let anyone interfere with my dreams and aspirations and thus if this is a problem for you, then please don't bother. I love to travel and find that I am most at home and relaxed when on a beach somewhere with a cold drink in my hands (preferably in the Caribbean but I'm not too picky). As I already mentioned, I love sports, both watching and playing them. I love watching movies, going out, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, etc. I have a HUGE weakness for guys in the military and/or firefighters (what girl doesn't love a man in uniform?).However I'm still waiting for one of them to prove they aren't all complete ***holes. I'm addicted to the color pink and Audrey Hepburn movies. Christmas is my favorite time of year although I wish I could spend it somewhere warm...I hate cold weather!!**What I'm looking for: Someone who can make me laugh and respects me. Honesty is key. Someone with no baggage. If you have kids that's great, but I don't need any baby mama drama. I don't like drama and certainly don't want to deal with yours!! Please be doing something with your life. I've been very successful and worked incredibly hard to get to where I am. I expect the same from you. I'm not necessarily looking for a relationship but I'm open to the possibility and I'm certainly not looking for a one night stand. I'm not that kind of girl so if that's all your after then move on along.ALSO if you're married, I'm not interested and you can carry that shitsomewhere else.     How can I describe myself? I usually start with "I am a single mother of two amazing children". Of which I am. But now I want to be different. First and foremost, meetville did not allow me to accurately say how many siblings that I have. Which annoys me.
