About Me

I've gotten to a stage in my life where I've found that it's hard to meet men that I really connect with, I have my friends and family and my own things going on, but I really just want someone to share it all with. I'm a mother of a 6 year old boy, who I adore and my main goal right now is giving him a great life. I'm also a student and will be finished with my Bachelor's degree in Interior Design in March. Along with that, I love sports, if it's on, I'll watch it. I like all kinds of music, but mainly country, rock and electric pop. The kind of man I go for is the blue collar type, man's man. I'm tall, so I would like someone taller than me and I usually go for dark hair and eyes. Aside from everything physical, I really just want someone with a kind heart, good sense of humor and who will not only be my man but my best friend. I love playing around and teasing, so if you're serious it probably wouldn't work out. Could be going out for a couple of drinks, no more than a couple though because I want to remember it the next day. Or maybe something more interactive like mini-golf or bowling so that I can show you my competitive side. Really anything that brings out your fun side and gives a chance to get to know each other.

    I'm not exactly what you'd call an indoor girl. I love being outside and being active. I've always thought of myself (and I think others would agree) as a spontaneous, outgoing person who loves to get the most out of life - I love doing races. Pushing myself and accomplishing goals gives me a sense of purpose. Next year, if I have time and the people who want to run with me, I want to do more! So I decided to give this online thing a shot and see if I can find someone who brings their own fun and uniqueness into my life. So here's a little more about me: I love to travel! I've been to a couple places -- and every time I go some where it makes me want to see more! If I could go anywhere I would chose New Zealand - outdoor sports capital of the world. Having said all that, I firmly believe its not where you go that's important, but the people you go with and the experiences you have when you get there. So, if I never make it to New Zeland but I get to bungee jump and sky dive and do all the fun, crazy things I've always wanted to do with someone who makes those experiences even better, I'll be happy.Now that you know some of my good points, here are a few of my fatal flaws: 1. I am completely tone deaf. My singing is the stuff of horror movies. I can't even whistle a tune... Sad, I know. 2. I am a terrible cook! However, I am hoping to prove nurture wins over nature - putting that debate to bed, so I am trying to teach myself. If you are a good cook and want to teach me, or if you're someone who wants to learn with me, make something awful, but have fun doing it - I'm your girl. My ideal first date would be something a little out of the ordinary. Not that I don't love the standard dinner and drinks date - I do love both food and drinks! but *** sitting across from each other, why not do something where we can walk around, and talk and keep things a little less formal? Maybe going to the science center, or going wine tasting, or meeingt for drinks and playing chess, or checking out one of our local breweries.
