Well, to start off, I am new to the area. I have been here for three months working for a local refinery. What was supposed to be several months may have turned into two years. I work 60 hours a week therefore do not have much down time. But I would love to make new friends to enjoy what time I do have. Maybe it won't be a love connection and I am quite fine with that but if I meet a few people to hang out with then I have accomplished a small goal. I am a fairly simple woman and have an adventurous "go with the flow" attitude. I enjoy the outdoors and am willing to try new things. I am the type of woman that will go to the motorcycle club today and the country club tomorrow. See, I am the woman most may overlook but my personality is infectious and pride myself on the fact that I beat to the tune of my own drum. I have some old school ways such as the fact that I still send snail mail and postcards and I will NOT allow a cell phone run my life. I believe that general rudeness is intolerable yet there is a time and place for it. I do have children and am a strong believer that family comes first. I enjoying drinking but do not believe one should be sloppy drunk, definitely do not use or wish to be around anyone that uses recreational drugs. Not that I am judging but I cannot take any chances due to my job. I love to travel and experience new things. I also appreciate spending time with someone that can teach me a thing or two. Travel/vacationing is definatley my favorite past time. I like my toes in the water, ass in the sand. :) I don't waste much time worrying about life, I prefer to sit back and enjoy it. My personality is definitely that of a perfectionist. I believe you should strive to do your best at anything in life or don't even bother doing it at all. I graduated college with a 4.0, and although I am book smart, I can sometimes lack common sense. Nothing too drastic just some occasional blonde moments every now and then lol. :) I am an athlete; I played basketball for 10 years and currently hold the record for most points scored in the history of my high school (1,***points). I love a fun night on the town but also enjoy relaxing at home with a good movie after a long week. I am a nerd in that I am fascinated with financial planning and investments-- I am looking for someone with a similar religious background and life goals. I'm also looking for someone who can become my best friend--and we can go from there. ;) It doesn't really matter what we do as long as it's fun! :-) However, I have high standards not only for myself, but also for my partner. With that being said, here are my personal preferences--a few years older than me (I've ALWAYS dated men who were considerably older), emotionally and financially stable/independent, no kids or has kid(s) over 18, someone who is past the party stage/not just looking for a piece (NO BOOTY CALLS FOR THIS GIRL), and someone who can challenge me every day to make me a better person.
