I love life...everything about it! I'm outgoing, confident, and witty. I'm full of sass and conversation, lots of laughter and some lame jokes :-) I believe life shouldn't be taken too seriously, but should be lived with intention. I'm very goal oriented and would love to find someone with a similar drive, but also the balance to enjoy the journey and the moments on the way to the goal. I love meeting new people. I'm a country girl from the other side of the nation, whose thirst for adventure has consistently moved me East. No complaints from me about the opportunity to explore a new place :-) Physically, people tend to notice my smile because I'm always wearing it and my confidence and ease in conversation and I consider both a huge compliment. I love being me. There is always room for improvement, but I am confident in who I am inside and out. Confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have and it's a quality that is very important. Be someone who believes you are valuable and have something significant to offer the world around you. Like who you are and others will like you too :)I'm doing my grad work this year and it's an amazing experience. Life has been my greatest teacher and the risks I have taken (and a few I haven't) have shaped me into who I am. Education is my field, my passion, my art. I'm among the luckiest people alive because I've spent the last 8 years in the presence of urban high school students who have changed my life...and hopefully I, theirs. While the work is significant and sentimental it is also hilarious, never boring, and at times reality tv worthy :)Love red dresses and high heels, yoga pants and flip flops, being outdoors, bootcamp workouts that leave me dripping with sweat and accomplishment, watching sports, cooking, sushi, exploring new areas, traveling and laughing. Honestly, I really do love life and experiencing it fully. There isn't much I won't try because I believe new experiences equate to fully living. Somewhere we can talk and laugh.

    So many wonderful additions downtown are great! But I can still walk in walmart and run in to at least four people I've not seen since high school lol! Nice to be back home:) About me... my father says I'm an artist (with a look of fear that it will never change)and my mother would agree. I know that I am artsy, but I believe it is more an attitude of appreciation for things and people in all forms. The only art I create really is my music and the occasional short story, that my professors loved to gossip about in the break room I'm sure. I am rather free spirited in thought, but also driven and goal-oriented (once I decide what it is I want). I come from an amazing family with a strong southern influence. My parents have the most beautiful love story that I hope to one day write a movie or novel about... I base my expectations accordingly, because if they can make it after the tradgedies they faced then there are few excuses. I was raised on a farm, so I have dueling traits of girly and tom-boy... hmm...I'm incredibly outgoing and rarely meet strangers, though when I'm sincerely attracted to someone I can come off almost flaky or ditzy. I never get stage fright, am rarely nervous, was great at school, even better at ditching to play guitar and sing with my friend and his band; We are now friends though, and he took my advice and thank heavens he didn't have me kicked out,lol!). If you've not yet noticed, I have quite a collection of stories, and love to tell them, which I believe was inherited from my dad.) ... I was married once, for a short time. And lastly (for now) I actually believe in true love... yes, it can be illusive at times, but the joy is in the search, right? Hmmm... I'm up for whatever, really, as long as it lends itself to good conversation. I'll ask one favor though, any outings are purely for friendships. I find if you maintain that mindset, you can make a lot of friends, and if there is anything deeper there, it will evolve and show itself in due time. I'm holding out for my happily ever after, because you only get that which you believe in!
