So I think a bit deeper than the "average Joe", and am blessed with wit, can talk on a number of various subject matter, and have a wicked sense of humor as well. It would be nice to meet someone that appreciates all that, but I'm not gonna hold my breath, I'd pass out. I want Friendship, Companionship and then a Relationship...in that order, and over TIME. I want for each of us to have our own independence, but when we are together, or apart, we're one. I am looking for my soul mate, but have no delusions that THAT is easily attainable, but you never know. I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for perfection, but be somewhat attractive and not obese please. I workout and diet part-time and appreciate someone that at least gives a modicum of sh!t about their health. I'm not being superficial, just know what I like. I would like to find someone to hang out with, have fun with, cook for, etc. I'm looking for a partner in life. Friendship, trust, caring and affection are big things for me. I like someone who takes care of themselves, is active and outgoing but also enjoys the idea of a quite night of doing not much of anything.I like to ride and be out on the water (which I don't do near enough). I play golf. I haven't gotten around to getting my dive certification, but have it on the list. I have a good job, which involves some travel and can make it hard to get something started (that and I'm kinda shy about breaking the ice). I don't have any kids (I like them though), or ex's buried in the backyard. Lived there 13 years. Enjoyed it but it was time for a change. I play the piano and guitar. I love chess and Scrabble. I enjoy reading news stories about disappearances and mysteries. I don't obsess on material things. I don't go to strip clubs. I don't pretend I'm 25 even though I look younger than I am. I'm just a little bit of a unique guy.As for my tastes in women, from experience I tend to get along well with women like myself. I'm not one of those "opposites attract" people. So, a mature young lady who maybe is a bit of an introvert and an intellectual who looks good in a bikini (I mean, I live ***steps from the beach after all) would be a very good match. Maybe she has just a little bit of a freaky side to her, too! Any place where good conversation can be had.
