I've just been floating through life trying to do and be the best I can. Lately, I've decided that even though it's been a pretty great life so far, it might be better if I had somebody to share it with! I think I have lots to offer the right woman, and looking so much forward to doing so. A short list of adjectives that I would use to describe myself is generous, respectful, funny, smart, understanding and compassionate.....there's a few more but I'll let you find out for yourself. I'm a little shy at first, but bear with me, that dissipates quickly! I'm 42 and have never been married and have no kids. I've kinda been living the Bachelor lifestyle. Well, it gets old and lonely. I'm ready to open a new chapter in my life. I'm just hoping it's not too late. I need somebody to motivate me to travel, to learn things I don't know, and to try things I've never tried before. I like who I am and I'm pretty proud of what I've become.....but I just feel like there's more, and I want you to show me!There's some qualities that I think are important, but aren't necessarily a deal breaker. First, I think one needs to love themselves. How can anybody love you if you don't! To love yourself is to take care of yourself. I try to stay fit, eat semi-healthy and don't do anything that would jeopardize my future (ie. drugs and cigarettes). I'm having a good time on Earth and I want to prolong it! This next one is real important: must at least appreciate ALL animals. If you don't know how I mean that, move on. A few small examples: if you have a problem with my dog sleeping at the foot of the bed....it probably won't workout. If you don't SAFELY slow down to avoid a squirrel, it probably won't workout.....if you don't like animals I don't have much for ya. I like to ride motorcycles, go four-wheelin', and take in local shows when I can. Currently, I eat out all the time and it gets pretty old. I would love to split cooking duties with someone....but I'll have to learn how! I've got some friends that mean a lot and some that don't. Sitting around a fire-pit listening to some tunes with some good friends is a great night to me, but also going to a bar and watching some sports on TV and having a couple beers sounds mighty fine too!Nothing hidden and no lies. That's how I try to be and that's kinda what I expect. I'm not counting on a lot out of this site, but I thought I'd give it a try. I know she's out there, it's just proving to be a little difficult running around in the same circles I always run. If I'm not the one for ya, I wish you luck and I hope you find everything that you are looking for! I'm wide open on this. I know by reading some of your profiles, they just want the man to decide. Well, that's fine but I'd need a telephone conversation or two to get an idea of what would fit for both of us. This could range anywhere from a nice trail hike with OUR dogs, to a nice quiet night on the town....depending on where you're from and what you're feeling like!

I'm the guy your parents dream you'll bring home. Why? Not a drug addict or alcoholic, financially secure, smart, creative, strikingly hand... did I mention smart and creative. Honesty is really important to me. I was going to put Brad Pitt photos on my profile but that would have been dishonest. I will achieve my goals in life if I can have a positive influence on millions of people, or at least make them think. So far, I've been inspiring millions to tune in to mindless reality shows, so I'm doing the opposite...My match? She should be pretty, fun, and smart. She should have a great sense of humor, because looking at my face every day, you'd have to. I also like working out, going out to dinner, taking photographs, walking my dog, and writing songs. For first dates, I prefer meeting for dinner somewhere. I like the beach except for all of the sand. One day, I hope to replace it with chocolate sprinkles so I could drop my icecream on the ground.
