Hello there...I believe that the best way to get to know someone is to sit with them and chat and see if you hit it off. Common interests are important, but not as important as chemistry. But anyway, I will say a little about things I like to do..I like to stay active and explore. I travelled and lived in different countries for a few years and believe that you learn the most by experiencing, and feeling the world with all your senses. I am interested in people, different languages and traditions, different ways of life.I love dancing recreationally to almost any kind of music from Latin to hip hop to Irish, to whatever. I'm not a professional or anything. I just love moving to the music.I like sports and games, but do not consider myself athletic - I am not particularly fast or exceptionally good at sports, but love to play for fun, to enjoy. I like walking, swimming, dancing, biking, etc.I am not a gym person. I can not motivate myself to exercise just for the sake of exercising. (I'd much rather dance all night, swim to a cave, do a two-day hike, climb a tree, or something). I'm not a bookworm - I read a book maybe once a year. I don't own or enjoy playing video games. I don't identify with or support any team and rarely watch a game. I don't feel the need to get drunk or high to have fun - I am high on life :P.....I love checking out new places, especially if they are outdoors. Things like Movies in the Park, Shakespeare in the Park, outdoor concerts, music festivals, food festivals, etc. I am usually up for anything, especially if I haven't tried it before.Having said all that, I am not always "active".. I do enjoy staying home and watching a movie, love playing board games and really enjoy making arts and crafts.So I am looking for someone who would love to do some or all of these things with me. And we can see how we get along. If we don't really get a long, it's ok ("plenty of fish", right?). If we are compatible, and make each other smile, fantastic :).Should we give it a shot?     Oh, geez. This is the difficult part of the profile....writing about myself. First you must understand that I am a Christian. I am not one that checks that box and then goes on to say that I attend drinking parties and sleeps around before marriage. I do my best to follow the New Testament and try to make the choices needed to be a Godly example. So, please if you have no consideration for at least trying to be a moral person know that there would be a high chance of it not working out between us.I have been teaching first grade for five years now. I love the little ones and I am not sure I would ever want to teach students beyond second. For one thing they are all taller than me after that! I just finished up my Masters Degree (May 13’). I am so glad that has been completed but now I’m getting the urge to continue school again…must be the learner in me. Fun? I like to do a lot of different things but I don’t always get to enjoy them. I like to camp, kayak, swim, hike, bike, and other things I can’t think of at the moment. I am trying to get into running. My sister, dad and I are entering a half-mathron so I am just in the beginning phases of training for that. If I have the money…I travel. I LOVE to travel. I have been to eight or so countries. If given the chance to move to Europe for a few years I would JUMP on it! I would love to teach in a military based school in Germany. Maybe one day I can make that happen. Also, if you send a message please start the conversation with something you read about in my profile. In fact that’s your free tip from me to you…make an effort to show interest in lady besides saying “hey” or “hi, how are you?”. I’m not sure if you get responses out of other ladies but you will not be getting one from me. Something simple to get to know each other then take it from there.
