I enjoy the quiet of cafes and museums, and going to concerts and live theatre. I read like a fiend, laugh like there is no tomorrow, and smile all the time. When I go shooting, I hit the target. I enjoy watching live sports, especially baseball and hockey. I love off-roading. Jeeps and big trucks are sexy (of course, so are fast cars and convertibles). The great outdoors is great and I enjoy spending time in it, whether it be camping, hiking, biking, shooting, or fishing. I don't get out as often as I would like. But i guess they were learning experiences. I learned what I really do want in someone and how I do and do not want to be treated. Being with someone and unhappy and mistreated is just not worth it. Intelligence is attractive to me as well. :) I dislike rude, pushy, controlling, shadiness, overly loud and/or obnoxious people... being lied to and drama. Let me make part if that clear again.... I can not stand SHADY people or LIARS... Just to be very clear.. If your that type, don't waste my time. Pushy and controlling people annoy me. Like when someone acts like I'm snobby or stuck up if I don't answer "in their given time". Used to date a guy like that and he was overly controlling & insecure! It became a stalker type situation literally.... Probably why I am hesitant about relationships a little lol... Besides that I am the total opposite of a stuck up or egotistical person. I don't like being around people that are full of theirselves. We are all human and no one is perfect :) I've been single for a little while now but in the past I've always been the one to try or give. I tend to be on the shy side until I actually feel comfortable around someone. If anything maybe a little big hearted at times. I do have kids like I said in the questions on here so of course Im busy at times.     I'm a country girl, grew up on cattle ranches. I have lived in CA most of my life, spent some time in NV, AZ and TX as well. I work hard, and I love to have a good time. Just started back to college, and with some hard work and a little luck I should be into a nursing program within the next year. I'm only working part time for the first time since I was 18 but I need to make school my top priority if I want to make it. It took me a long time to settle on what I wanted to do with my life and I'm not about to screw it up. In my spare time I ride horses, rope when I can and spend time with my nephew. Raising horses, dogs and livestock is my life, always has been, always will be.     So just a couple things I enjoy doing... spending time with family & friends, traveling, riding my bike, hiking, boating, home decorating, going to the shore, going for a long drive with good music playing.... not an exhaustive list. In general, I enjoy trying new things like I've been getting into shooting. I'd consider skydiving, but I think that will take someone to motivate me ; ) I love all different types of music... but my favorite is country : ) I think a good first date would be getting a drink in a place that allows for conversation....
