Things that make me unique.....I've been described as cute, sweet, and funny. I must admit, I can be a bit quirky at times, but then again, everyone's got quirks right? I consider myself to be a very positive and happy person. I enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life, and hope to bring that out in others. I smile easily and love to laugh. To me, humor is a very attractive quality in people and a trait that shows the ability to relax and have fun. Family and friends are important to me. I feel that a solid foundation built with positive relationships helps a person truly appreciate others, oneself, and the experiences you share.I am very big into endurance sports: running (from 10-milers to marathons), triathlons, swimming, biking, hiking, etc..and much of my free time is spent training for races, or just doing something physical. I recently completed my first full IronMan in September and am still on Cloud 9 from the experience! I certainly don't spend every waking minute working out or at a gym, but I find great satisfaction in being active - along with the benefit of some mental clarity as well! :)Simply put, I am passionate about life and its possibilities. Everyone has a story. Everyone has experiences that lead them to where they are today. I am proud of my accomplishments and have even been humbled by some of the "unexpectedness" life has handed me. I care deeply and am all about the compliments of a relationship - not the complications! I feel when something is right - it's easy, and insecurities or reservations are non-existent. I am a bit old-fashioned with certain aspects of a relationship, and appreciate the efforts that show genuine interest/care/chivalry (without over doing it!). With that said, I love contributing to a relationship the same way and enjoy making my partner feel special/appreciated/loved.By no means do I live in the dream world where everything is/needs to be perfect (Frankly, that would be boring). However, I admire a man that is willing to put forth the efforts to compensate the areas that need "refining," and can, without reservation be open and honest with his intentions. It goes without saying that my daughter (5 years old) is my #1 priority. I understand that many single men may have reservations about dating a lady with a child - I can assure you that my role as a mom and sharing responsibility of her with my ex is healthy, drama free, and something that I am proud of. Everyone is entitled to their personal preferences - especially when it comes to children. But, it is certainly important to me to find someone that is comfortable and confident with that part of my life. It would be great to meet someone who not only has similar interests, but can expand my interests with introducing me to new things. Good conversation and wit compliment a great guy as well!I adore compassion - while at the same time, can't wait to meet someone that keeps me on my toes in all the fun ways good relationships lend to a couple. Keep it casual! Be yourself - nothing worse than someone who is trying TOO hard! To me, good communication, fun atmosphere, and a genuine interest to get to know someone will take care of everything else.

I am looking for someone who is fun, yet responsible and dependable. Someone who still has integrity and morals. I am a good person and expect that out of a partner as well. I want someone who is goal oriented, unselfish, and willing to put in effort into a relationship, being there through the good and the bad. I am the type of person who will leave notes to let someone know I care... just because. I would love to meet someone who has the same type of giving, caring and loving heart and attitude as I do. I believe if you love someone, that you should be proud to be with them and to show them that you care. I will give you the world if you do the same for me! You must love animals. It is a big deal to me. I have one dog. I consider him a part of the family, not an accessory...lol. I need someone who feels the same way and preferably without allergies, if possible. I have achieved quite a bit professionally. I need someone who is supportive and understanding towards my career, as I would be towards them and their job. I have worked hard to get where I am and hope for a decent level of ambition in a mate. On a personal level, I like to have fun. Friends and family are very important to me. I would like to find someone who has strong family values like I do. I like group activities, like playing cards, snowboarding, traveling, etc. Love to have bbqs or hang out with friends. Like to go to the movies, museums, street festivals, bowling, etc. I have gone skydiving before and completely loved it. I can be just as happy to sit at home and watch TV or a movie. I am trying to eat decently, trying to stay away from fast food. It would be great to find someone who likes to go for walks and maybe even exercise together :) I like to go the beach, ride bikes, and be in nature at times. I like to do activities with my dog as well, like taking him to the dog park or beach. I love to travel when I can. I love new experiences... I would love to go diving in a shark cage or travel to Europe someday... It's on my bucket list... lol. I am a fun-loving, easy going person overall. I love music. I like all types of music except maybe Opera and Classical... I will give anything a try once :) My music depends on my mood.
