About Me

My friends describe my type of guy as "tall, skinny, kinda nerdy." My track record shows that I can't argue that. If you're "nerdy", I find that adorable! I am not at all into guys who spend COUNTLESS hours at the gym, though being fit is definitely a plus. I work out with a trainer 3 times a week and eat as clean as possible. Here are some of my likes/preferences:1. Tall! I'm quite tall myself and LOVE wearing high heels. I'd prefer feeling "small" next to my man. I don't enjoy feeling like an Amazon woman! 2. Dark hair. I'm not opposed to light hair, I just find that I'm drawn to darker hair.3. Do you wear suits? (bonus points!) Also, do you care what you look like? Great! Perhaps we'll be mistaken for Barbie and Ken when we're out! lol4. Twisted sense of humor. If you can keep me laughing, I will fall for you quicker! I love smartasses. Keep me on my toes!5. Thin. I'm drawn to thinner guys. You don't have to be super fit, or even fit at all. But bigger guys just aren't my thing.6. Goofy. I love seeing guys dressed in halloween costumes, having fun at football games, etc. in their profile pics. 7. Animal lover. I love it when I see a picture of a guy with his dog/cat. I will probably NOT respond if I see the following things in your pictures: (just trying to make this easy for you! please don't get offended! We all have our attractions and things that we are not attracted to)1. baseball cap on sideways. (I'm into white guys who know that they're white)2. "chin strap" and very manicured facial hair. I love scruff, but not beards. 3. Denim shorts. Seriously, you read that right. I no longer have the desire at this stage in life to teach a man to dress nicely.4. Fish. I have no problem with fishing and think it's a great hobby for a guy. But unless you're showing a random pic from a chartered salt water fishing excursion, I just don't think I would have anything in common with you if you're a fisherman. I have no desire to look at/smell/or be on a boat with fish and I prefer to date people with like interests/hobbies as me.5. Gold teeth. No further explanation necessary.6. Bald/Shaved head. Sorry, I like a full head of hair. 7. Motorcycles. Nothing wrong with them, but it's not a passion I have. So if a pic of your prized bike made the cut for your profile, it must be a big deal to you. It's not to me. I will NEVER go for a ride on one. You will NOT be the exception to change my mind on that. Not even if you're Johnny Depp.8. Crocs. nope. never.I am self-sufficient and do not NEED a man, though I do WANT one. I'm not your normal chick. Independent is the first word that comes to mind when I am asked to describe myself. I have lots of friends, I am not shy by any means, I'm not insecure, or needy. I am lots of fun and am always trying to make someone laugh. One of the biggest compliments I've ever received was from my old boss. He told one of my old co-workers that if he wanted to make sure that everyone was having fun, that he should invite me along. The reason that I'm on here is that most all of my friends are married and/or have children and that makes it hard to get out there and meet someone. And when I do get out, it's usually with one of my single guy friends, and that certainly doesn't help to meet a guy! So to sum it up, I would like to meet a guy between the ages of ***. And of course, MUST love animals.I am not yet decided whether or not I want children, but to be perfectly honest, I'm leaning towards not. So if your dream is a big family, I'm not your ideal girl. I do believe this could change when I meet the right guy though. Also, if you're a proud dad-that's fantastic. Your kids should be your main priority. You're probably not for me though as "I" would like to be someone's main love interest. Also, I'm really not interested in the baggage and drama that might come along with your baby mama.I hope that none of this came across as rude, it certainly was not my intention. In fact, I re-wrote this since I feel guilty *** from guys who just aren't my type. Attraction is a big deal for me. I've dated the guys who "make sense" and that gets old.... :) Something extremely low-key. A quiet wine or martini bar is my ideal place to meet someone. I'm not into dance clubs, but I could curl up on a couch with a glass of wine and talk for hours if I'm into you. So I'd like to go somewhere that allows me to hear you! :)

I took a long break from meetville, but after a night out with a good friend, and yet another meetville success story (which will make 3 marriages I've witnessed due to this site), I decided I'd give it yet another try. Okay, we all hate filling these things out, so I know you'll bear with me. I'm relatively new to S FL... and not sure that I'm loving it here.As you are aware, meetville tells us:"If you want to be successful and not waste your time do this.1. Talk about your hobbies.2. Talk about your goals/aspirations3. Talk about youself* and what makes you unique.4. Your taste in music. "*and yes, they wrote 'youself'... I didn't.As for "youself" or me: I'm well-educated, ambitious, ready to try new things (although we all have our limits). And, I guess I'm ready to get into the dating game again; although, after a lack of being in "the game" for years, you kinda lose your skills... There are only a few things that I ask (if you've even made it this far into reading this and not just based everything on my pictures). But... I'm just looking for someone who is attractive, not c0cky and around my age! Please don't send me a message if you are old enough to be my father! And if you do message me... please use correct grammar and spelling-- I used to give "extra points" for that. Now it's just a necessity. I guess I am picky. But, I'm allowed to be at this point in my life. I love intelligence, someone who can hold a conversation~ and I do put a high value on education. I want someone passionate about life- I'm down with eccentric characters. I never thought that I had a "type" but I'm slowly finding that I might... I guess to summarize: a guy who has an artistic flair (grungy, even) who is intelligent and has his own sense of self and style. I'm a nerd, so that's great, too. You get extra points for being worldly/ well-traveled. Lots of points for European accents and the usage of large, uncommon words in everyday conversation. And, I know I get a lot of flack for this, but I'm really just not a dog person... just who I am. I don't drink coffee.
