About Me

Some things about me: I like variety. I'm not the type of person who likes to always go to the same place and do the same things. I like to mix it up and try new things--although like everyone, I have my favorite places, songs, etc. But I believe in mixing it up a bit. It keeps life interesting.I don’t just love music--I am an artist myself. I write my own songs, and sing and play the piano on my own tracks. I have my own website up and would like to do more to promote my music.I’m a little shy and an introvert by nature, probably because I grew up out in the country. But over the years I’ve learned to be more outgoing and can now walk into a room full of strangers and start up a conversation. And I can get talkative around my friends, especially after a drink or two. But I will always be an introvert and a little shy at heart. I love to read and write. If I could be anything, I would be a writer (then a singer). I've written plenty of things but have never had the luck of being published on a national or international level. But I hope to someday. I'm very loyal and have several friends whom I've known for many years. Fitness is a huge part of my life. I work out 3 to 6 times a week and try to eat healthy.What I'm looking for in a guy:I’m looking for a guy who has a good sense of humor, is laid back, trustworthy and fun. I also want a guy who has his life together. Since I like variety, a guy who always just wants to sit at home or visit the same place every time would probably bore me in the long run. I love great 80's movies where the amazing guy gets the girl with a killer soundtrack and usually a classic car. I also love scary movies! Laughter is the essence of life for without it... You probably need meds. I work at a hospital and see and smell things you don't want to and can still be hungry after. At work I love chaos and craziness but I prefer no drama at home.     I have changed my profile twice in hopes of deterring the crazies (oh the stories I can tell ya) and attracting the sane ones. I work in the medical field and have a Monday through Friday job. No kids and never married. I recently bought a house and have traded in macys for home depot ;) I have two dogs who are family and think they run this place. My career is important to me, but does not dictate my life. I love slapstick humor, love to quote the stupid one-liners that come from those movies. I'm a nerd when it comes to these movies. Laughing as I am writing this thinking of some. I am attempting to learn how to cook, love wine and have decided that the more wine I have the better my cooking!!! I want to travel and be outdoors and want to enjoy that with my future partner. Really like amusement parks, have an annual pass to Disneyland! Like animal parks and aquariums..
