Noticed it was time for an update...I am a 38 yr old guy with a 17 yr old daughter to continues to amaze me. She is my rock star and inspiration! She is also the source of my gray hair...I've recently quit smoking (1 month...) thanks to e-cigs. I know, it's cheating but I figured water vapor and nicotine is better than smoke, ash, tar and nicotine...I like to stay active and would like to continue so I've decided my goal is to start my 40's in better shape than I did my 30's. I like to snowboard and mountain bike. Wake boarding is on my bucket list. I also like to shoot pool, have a few beers occasionally, camp, fish... the usual MN stuff... If your interests are reading and crocheting that's great but those aren't things we can do together so it'd be nice if you enjoyed one or more of the above activities too... You I hope are a youthful spirit and active too. You're probably under 40 but if you're young at heart it won't rule you out. I also hope you have your own friends. I'd love to meet them and it'd be great if you got along with mine but I don't deal well with codependency... we have to be able to go our own ways on occasion. You also probably have kids, hopefully out of diapers as I really have no intentions of changing any more.. I love kids but I prefer them at a more entertaining age that can do fun things like... play catch and do the chores I don't want to! :-)I am far from perfect and don't expect nor want perfect, so boring... I'm not Mr. GQ, I'm not rich and I'm not looking for a Vicky's model either. I do have awesome blue eyes however! While I'm not expecting perfection, there are some deal breakers that experience forces me to disclose...1. We all make mistakes and we all have a past... If yours contains a felony, especially for arson... no thanks. I prefer my stuff not set ablaze...2. If you are a drug user/ addict... please seek a 12 step program, complete it, and try your call again later. ***ceased being fun shortly after high school and anything else = psychotic...3. If there are more potential baby daddies than babies... Again, we all make mistakes... but if you've made the same mistake repeatedly, I'm not looking to be your next!In the end, all I want is someone real and genuine. You know you rock and you're awesome without the need to have other people affirm it all the time. But you're still OK if I do... Who knows, I don't know you so that's tough. It's also seasonable dependent. A drink on a patio is great... unless it's January.....

Well, here it goes....For starters, I am probably not your typical male. I am not big into sports. I know a lot of people like football, baseball, and so on, but never had an interest in them. As far as I look at it. I would rather spend my time doing something constructive with someone than focusing my time talking about who is the best quarterback this year. I have always been attracted to extreme sports such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX. I really don't follow any of them any more though. My hobbies include model making, movies, and some video games, but I don't glue myself in front of a television for hours on end. I am a very sincere person both on the inside and out. I find it rewarding to help people when I can. I believe the lord watches when we do good for our neighbor. I consider myself to be a simple man overall, and not get wrapped up in the material sense of life. I do enjoy having nice things from time to time, but I don't believe in the status quo. I also forgot to mention that I like to dance as well. I may be getting older, but I enjoy going out to the club to hang out socially, not a big drinker, just to have fun and be social. I am looking for a woman who can relate to the same values as I, but can stand apart and be herself with her own values. I love children, so having kids is no problem with me. I enjoy the outdoors when it's nice out. I like to go on bike rides, camping, or just explore nature and be adventuress. I am a compassionate man, a good listener, and a romantic. Another thing is I am a big country music fan, so it would be a bonus to meet someone who also likes country. The one thing I cannot stand though, is someone who swears a lot. I admit, I slip from time to time, but I find it very unattractive to use foul language constantly. I have much to offer, and if I sound like the guy for you, let's chat. Well, if I'm reading this right, my first date would probably either be spent going out for a nice dinner, and or meeting out at a dance club or a similar social event and get to know one another better. I'm up for anything new as well, but it would be nice to have a dance partner.
