About Me

I am a native New Yorker and an artsy type. Now, I'm proud to launch them into their lives. I've been singing my whole life and now I'm performing my one-woman-musical play that I wrote. Someday, I hope to make income from it! The prospect of doing my play is both daunting and scary. But, lately, I've been doing a lot of scary things like ending my long-term marriage. I have a lot of energy and I love to go out to see theatre, music, whatever. Anything new is good. Because I'm a musician, I'm into all styles, and I don't rule out anything. I'm looking for a guy who has the same interests as me. I'm looking for an intelligent man who is comfortable in his own skin. Someone successful but not a shark. Someone who enjoys his life despite the problems and issues. Someone who says, "I'll make the best of it." Someone kind, who loves people and the world. Someone who likes himself but isn't egotistical. Somebody who would take me for what I am but at the same point, tell me the truth. My ideal relationship, and I know ideals are to be approached and may not be attained, but my ideal is a committed relationship where we know how to talk about the bad stuff and actively pursue the good stuff. A relationship where we laugh together everyday. It's my Dream Date, so what the heck - The conversation flows, without any self-consciousness. My date begs me to go on the Wonder Wheel. I'm afraid of it so if the guy can get me to go on it with him, well, I must innately trust him. Our first kiss is when our little car reaches the top.

I am a semi-retired widow seeking to meet my new "best friend" and eventually have a long term relationship. I am financially, emotionally and physically "well." My faith and family are both very important to me. My kids are grown and I'm blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren. I'm not looking to raise any more children. I love to laugh and have fun. I enjoy music, travel, camping, reading, dancing and new adventures. Meet for coffee, lunch or dinner for conversation.

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

I'm looking for someone that is willing to take the time to read my "book" not just the cover. If you are looking strictly for a physical relationship then you should probably move on. I look forward to intimate encounters after getting to know someone really well but it is not number one on my list. Friendship is! I love cats (have 3 of them), so you must love them too. I love intelligent conversations. I love books and movies. I also love flea markets, swap meets, craft shows, yard sales, etc. I'm a bargain hunter. I like to build puzzles and play board games. I like to bowl, shoot pool, and play darts. I enjoy quiet times but I do like an occasional night on the town. I am a veteran and therefore very patriotic and want to meet others who love this country as much as I do. I'm not overly fond of flying (I do it anyhow) but I enjoy traveling on the open road, maybe some day in an RV. Camping is fun. I love Harleys and miss my days of riding. I smoke and I'm overweight both of which I'd like to change so I'm looking for someone who would be supportive and possibly want to do the same. There's a lot more to me but I guess I find it easier to answer questions than just talk about myself. So ask away. I think a first date should be simple but special. Maybe someplace like Kanapaha Botanical Gardens where we can walk and talk amidst a beautiful setting. Meeting for coffee or drinks can be a standby if it's someplace where we can talk and be heard.
