Now that they are all adults I find myself on a new journey … There is so much out there to experience and I hope I will not be doing it alone. I am enjoying many things that I could only do during stolen moments when the demands of single parenting took priority. I love that part of my life, if fact I think I would say that it is my greatest accomplishment so far. But now it is time to move forward. I am taking more time to exercise & trying to eat healthy (“trying” being the key word). This is not an easy thing for me being that I love chocolate and flavored creamers in my coffee. I love to read, scour antique shops and flea markets for Depression glass and other treasures, research my family tree. I am primarily Finnish (love those sauna’ I like traveling although there has been a specific destination lately.. I enjoy gardening and believe it or not I like mowing my lawn. I enjoy going to WATCH sporting events both local and professional. During the winter time I enjoy going ice skating and sledding (the old fashioned kind..with a toboggan). I have never been skiing but would like to try it sometime.’t had the opportunity to do this as often as I would like. I want to learn how to fly fish. I own a set of golf clubs but don't know how to use them. I enjoy taking care of my home and the people that I love. I am a good cook and a person who pays attention to detail, therefore I call myself a master planner. With that said. I'm a train wreck in the morning, i'm a **** in the afternoon. Every now and then without warning, I can be really mean towards you. I'm a puzzle yes indeed, ever complex in every way, and all the pieces aren't even in the box, and yet you see the picture clear as day. I don't know why you love me, and that's why i love you, you catch me when i fall, accept me flaws and all. When i need attention i tend to nag, i'm a host of imperfection, and you see past all that. I'm somewhat of an introvert, but I do like to meet new people and try new things; I'd like to have more adventures in my life. I'm a mature-minded person who's trying to find a like-minded lifemate/soulmate...a husband to share my life with. I have a great love for the Arts (Visual, Literary, Performing, etc.) and for Nature/the Environment. I love most animals (though I don't currently have any pets), and I have collections of books and films. Likewise, sometimes my views on things can be more old-fashioned/conservative, or they can be more liberal. At the end of the day, I'd like to find a man who shares at least some of my interests/passions/views...a man with whom I share a deep connection/bond with. We would have a great deal of love and respect for each other, and make each other as happy as we could. A lover *and* best friend (ideally). An ideal first date could be just going out to enjoy a nice meal, going to the movies or to a museum or the theater. Above all, each of us should feel comfortable to be ourselves and relaxed enough to have some fun and not be too serious. Talking and getting to know more about each other would be the goal. Seeing if there's any kind of a "spark".
