About Me

Hi! I am a lot of fun and a high-energy, positive, open, honest, passionate person. I love my job, but I WILL absolutely make time for a special person and really look forward to that! I enjoy my free time and am very happy doing a wide variety of things. I love playing tennis! I prefer to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Age is a funny thing, because the years may say one thing, but I have more energy than most people I know, including those 10 yrs. younger. It’s really a state of mind... as well as a physical state (and maybe some good, hearty Scottish genes!) I love to have fun and live life fully. I am very passionate and care about everything I do, from raising my kids (my youngest is 21 and away at school), spending time with family and friends, to work, volunteering, and certainly being in a special relationship….. I also have a great sense of humor (passed down for sure from my father and Scottish blood!) I believe the best in life is yet to come! Do you? I want to travel more now! I've loved goofing around with my kids, but they are not at home anymore. My youngest comes home in the summer and holidays, and is very busy with his friends, as it should be. While remaining a loving, and dedicated mom, I am very ready to start building toward the next phase of my life. I am NOT a game-player-I have no interest or time for that – life is too short. I am very genuine, loving, loyal and fun.I believe there is a wonderful man out there with whom, together, we can enjoy an active life of love and travel moving forward. There are many nice men, but I'm looking for "the one." The connection where mutual sophistication and playfulness recognize each other and naturally connect and intertwine. If we're a match, you're genuine and a really nice man; someone with good character who is passionate about life and seeks to find the same kind of loving relationship with someone, as I do, and is ready to share his heart. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, affectionate, intellect, and a good sense of humor- that’s what I look for in someone. I love being active, so someone who loves doing “stuff,” as well as chilling out at home is great. I don’t look for more in someone than what I’m willing to give.     Hmmm trying to describe me and what I am about is proving more challenging than I thought. I am the very proud mom of two children, neither live at home but both are close so we are able to get together frequently. I own my own home...but I do yard work out of necessity, not because I enjoy mowing! There are so many more fun things to do! I am missing that great feeling of comfort and love that you get when you are with someone who cares, so here I am. I think I am a fun, funny and energetic lady. I love to try new things, and there is nothing better than being with someone who makes me laugh! (Well..) I also enjoy road trips, hanging on the couch watching a good movie, going out for good food or to hear some live music. I am not a great cook, but my kids didn't starve, so adequate is the best description I can think of. I am told my sense of humor is on the sarcastic side...I will let you decide. I work out ***times per week, but am happy to skip the gym for something that is more fun. I enjoy camping, but not necessarily roughing it so last fall I bought my own camper, I really miss my tent....not. Ha ha. I like getting to the farmers market, concert on the square, and going to hear live music. I also play on a local pool team. I wish I could say I am a Skilled player, but that was years ago. Now it is a fun hobby and reason to get out and do something, especially in those cold winter months. I am hoping to find a great guy who would like to bring me into his life and I can bring him into mine so we can share our interests and time together in hopes of building a friendship and possible long term relationship. Is there anyone out there interested in some fun times, some quiet times and maybe some new adventures? Out for coffee or a drink to chat and get to know each other would be a great start.
