Talking about myself isn't something that come very easy for me but here goes. It's not that I am shy because I can certainly carry a conversation with just about anyone but I feel uncomfortable talking about myself. I moved back to R.I. to be closer to my family again. I have two children ages 21 and 24 neither who live at home. I have a lot of free time on the weekends. I work a 4 day long hour work week but that enables me to have Friday,Saturday and Sunday off! . I and have not found the right person to share my time with. I'm very down to earth. I love the outdoors and love the coast. I am hard working and capable of taking care of myself. I'm looking for someone who has time to hang out.Maybe enjoy a dinner out or cook a meal at home together maybe a movie or go for a walk in the evening or a day at the beach! Want some one who likes to laugh!!! I do like sports. Especially football. I am fairly athletic and like to exercise regularly. I have a big dog who is 11 years old and he is my buddy for sure! So must love dogs! LOL For a first date I think meeting for a coffee is always a good ice breaker. Then if you find there is no chemistry your not stuck sitting through a long dinner together.

After a while, these profiles all start sounding the same. It is so hard to put into words how to describe yourself and not sound like a classified ad. But I'll try, so here goes...I am a Christian woman interested in meeting a Christian man. My faith is very important to me. I love to laugh, so he must have a great sense of humor. If my friends were to describe me, they would say I am kind, intelligent, funny and loving (of course I paid them to say that!) If I were to describe me I would say that I am kind, intelligent, funny, and loving. Wait, that sounds familiar! Anyway, I love music, reading, football (college and pro), movies, dining out, and being outdoors. I love my life and feel truly blessed. I am always looking up (not because I am short, but because I am focused on God) and try to see the positive in everything. So, enough about me....tell me about you.... I think a first date should be casual and comfortable. Somewhere public (safety first), and a nice relaxed atmosphere. A nice dinner by the ocean, to talk and get to know one another.

How can you sum up yourself in one paragraph? I' been told I'm a technicolor painting in a charcoal drawing world. I am multi-faceted. Right brain / left brain. Just as comfortable having intense deep conversations in which you completely lose track of time and space in a café, or hiking in the woods (which I try to do as much as possible) or kayaking in the ocean. I prefer the company of like minded people interested in music, art, photography, culture, philosophy, science, world issues, politics, creative, intelligent & intellectual, deep conversationalists-- and who take care of themselves physically. A big plus if you love nature and being physical in the outdoors.) While loving the outdoors later in the afternoons, I'm also a great lover of the indoor leisure arts -- like reading, conversing, writing, cooking, meditating, and lollygagging in bed on a rainy day! I've also been known to partake in the lost art of puttering. ;- You know what they say...when you make of list of what you're looking for in another person, it's good to possess those traits in yourself. No smokers or heavy drinkers, please. A Good sense of humor is a must! Laughter can get you through ALOT in life. :-) So can charm and a nice smile ;-) In LA I worked in the music biz for 25 years so I'm have a very LA / NY mentality. I'm well traveled internationally and speak Spanish and French, and have dual citizenship (US and French.)As for music, I never met a note I didn't like. And of course, there is the beauty of the sound of silence. There's definitely something to be said for the unique blissful sound of silence. Fibonacci and Pythagoras had it right -- numbers make up the sounds of the universe and all the music we create. will be back to finish this bit
