This is the most awkward part so let's go.....I could ramble on and describe some very cool qualities about myself, unfortunately I am pretty partial to 'me' so you would not be getting a very objective view. What follows is a little bit about who I am searching for...I love to spend time outside and in great company. Enjoy unwinding with conversation and / or while listening to music over a cool adult beverage. I am not needy and I am not looking for anyone who is dependent on being with someone ***. I have found peace in being with myself. While I enjoy the independence, I know I am ready to connect with someone again. Hopefully that same someone can turn out to be the one I can fall for later .... I am low on maintenance and drama, hopefully you are too! I love music, very partial to rock (old to new), yet absolutely enjoy listening to any artist who can get lost in their lyrics. I enjoy good nutrition, exercise, and staying in shape. Sports like, my sons competitive baseball team, the Royals, pro football, and KU Basketball!! ;) not necessarily in that order, but close! If I could describe you, you would be fit, open, honest, fun-loving, family oriented, dog loving, wild spirit with a dash-o-rebel tossed in . . . all the while having a wicked sense of humor! You don't believe in 'soul mates' but appreciate the genuine connection two individuals can have... And you would much rather spend time kissing than finding fault, judging or blaming others... Is it possible to find that on a website and within one person?? . . . Who knows, but I'm not willing to compromise so the search is ON!I am honest, so let me start here. While looks are certainly not everything, we are on the internet so I can't get to know your personality first. With that said, I need at least an initial interest in your photo to want to know you more. I can tell you I am not a fan of responses that have no picture or lack any type of description, facial hair (although the scruffy look can be quite sexy)... nor am I a lover of large sizes. I do my best to keep myself in shape and I would expect any future partner to do the same..... I am sure that sounds stuck-up, but truly I am not ..... I just believe in being honest from the start!     So this is me in a nutshell: FSU graduate, WAS married 31 years, friendly, positive attitude, saucy personality, a little sheltered, and a tiny bit spoiled. I am truly hoping to one day find a NICE and confident guy who is well established or semi-retired from the career of his choice. He should come with high morals and a good sense of humor, because I love to tease and flirt with the ones I love. Plus, this man of my dreams also needs to be a "one woman man" where the word "cheat" is not in his mental vocabulary, and he knows how to be sensitive and romantic at a moment's notice. I would prefer my partner to be in his 50's or early 60's because I have this habit of thinking and acting like I'm in my 20's. Oh, yeah...and I love a man who loves animals...and actually isn't afraid to dress up once in a while if that's what the evening calls for. You see at his point in my life, I have paid my dues as a domestic engineer (stay at home mom of 2 great kids) for 24 of my 31 year marriage, and now that my kids are grown and I have the time to relax and enjoy my life, I'd love to find a companion, best friend, and lover that I can have FUN with (i.e. live music concerts, movies, dinners out, etc). I'd also love to TRAVEL once in a while with him and really wouldn't mind experiencing more of Europe, as well as the western parts of our great US. Okay, so moving on...). I also enjoy a nice big steak... and I don't really need to work out to keep my petite figure. What can I say, I'm just lucky I guess :) I do have some long term physical limitations though, meaning rheumatoid arthritis for 49 of my 53 years. I've even had my knees replaced at the age of 17...so YES, I have bionic parts and take a good amount of medicine to keep my perky self going. But, with that being said, there's not much that holds me back from doing the things I love to do...I've just had to adjust to not doing too many things. Lol Oh, and I try not to be judgmental about others because I really wouldn't what them judging me. I just know what I like and what I don't like in others...Anyway, the bottom line is: If you are a distinguished, caring man with a heart that is bigger than your ego, and you fit some of the same characteristics that I'm looking for in a guy, please send me a message.
