A low maintenance, quirky, girl, I've been described as a cross between a tom-boy and a diva (sans drama). Though I view my inner-self more like the plain Jane, girl-next-door type.Open-mindedness is a quality I admire, I'm a life-long-learner and adventurer who is intense about connecting with one's passions. So, I will not be able to converse about most popular shows, though I do enjoy an interesting film now and then. For me, "Doing" something or "producing" something is more interesting to me than "watching" something.I won't ever pretend to understand quantum mechanics . . . though, I would like to know more about the possibilities that it creates. Intelligence has always been one-part of the "turn on equation" for me, that apparently makes me a sapio-sexual? Since I am tall-ish, truthfully, I like tall-er. Love all kinds of dancing, I really just enjoy the emotional expression to music.I have traditional values, honesty, loyalty, and respect; and remain open-minded and without bias towards others views and beliefs :)My self-critical nature, suggests that I have problems with run-on, overly complicated sentences! Re-editing my thoughts is something that I have become accustom to, they seem to flow too much sometimes ;-) . . . Generally, I graze for healthy food when I eat, but greatly admire and respect someone who is comfortable in the kitchen, where I really want to help. Transparency . . . is a characteristic that I try to live by . . . and I seek transparency both in some of the fabrics I choose to wear and in terms of relationship communication and self-reflection. It seems that if transparency erodes, trust may follow. I will never be a know it all, as there is way SO much more to learn. Materialism turns me off . . . doesn't impress me, nor does mainstream, pop-culture. In-the-moment, hear and now, truth are more of a turn-on for me. I appreciate those who would rather struggle in weird obscurity, than compromise their own personal or artistic dreams.     So this is me in a nutshell: FSU graduate, WAS married 31 years, friendly, positive attitude, saucy personality, a little sheltered, and a tiny bit spoiled. I am truly hoping to one day find a NICE and confident guy who is well established or semi-retired from the career of his choice. He should come with high morals and a good sense of humor, because I love to tease and flirt with the ones I love. Plus, this man of my dreams also needs to be a "one woman man" where the word "cheat" is not in his mental vocabulary, and he knows how to be sensitive and romantic at a moment's notice. I would prefer my partner to be in his 50's or early 60's because I have this habit of thinking and acting like I'm in my 20's. Oh, yeah...and I love a man who loves animals...and actually isn't afraid to dress up once in a while if that's what the evening calls for. You see at his point in my life, I have paid my dues as a domestic engineer (stay at home mom of 2 great kids) for 24 of my 31 year marriage, and now that my kids are grown and I have the time to relax and enjoy my life, I'd love to find a companion, best friend, and lover that I can have FUN with (i.e. live music concerts, movies, dinners out, etc). I'd also love to TRAVEL once in a while with him and really wouldn't mind experiencing more of Europe, as well as the western parts of our great US. Okay, so moving on...). I also enjoy a nice big steak... and I don't really need to work out to keep my petite figure. What can I say, I'm just lucky I guess :) I do have some long term physical limitations though, meaning rheumatoid arthritis for 49 of my 53 years. I've even had my knees replaced at the age of 17...so YES, I have bionic parts and take a good amount of medicine to keep my perky self going. But, with that being said, there's not much that holds me back from doing the things I love to do...I've just had to adjust to not doing too many things. Lol Oh, and I try not to be judgmental about others because I really wouldn't what them judging me. I just know what I like and what I don't like in others...Anyway, the bottom line is: If you are a distinguished, caring man with a heart that is bigger than your ego, and you fit some of the same characteristics that I'm looking for in a guy, please send me a message.
