Looking for: woman. In age: 42-52
I am a single father with a 16yr old daughter that lives at home with me and is the most awesome kid in the world. I love kids and mine are growing up and hanging out with dad isn't as cool as it used to be. I am looking for someone that is nice and would like to get to know me. I work a crazy schedule that has me working weekends a lot of the time and with my daughters sports schedule it is hard for me to meet people. I am not into the bar scene but don't mind going out for a drink from time to time with the right company. I have my health, all my teeth, and all my hair. Haha! I am at a pretty good place in my life right now but I miss sharing it with someone special. Just looking for a companion and am hoping to find someone that wants to share their life with me. I am a very down to earth guy and I enjoy simple things. I am loyal and know how to treat a lady. I would rather give than receive and knowing that I made someone happy makes me happy. I love to cook and my kitchen is clean when I go to bed at night and my bed is made when I get up in the morning. I love pets, we have 2 little dogs and a border collie.

If you've ever seen the movie "Groundhog Day.".."me,me,me,me." In a funny way, that's what I feel like as I peruse many of these ads. You've described me perfectly! I'm so relieved, I thought this was going to be hard, but there are so many ladies here on this site that want the very same things I do. Thank God!!! So play with me here for a second and let's assume that it's just a miracle of human nature that we can all be completely different and yet still so much the same. We all really need the same things at our core: we want to be a part of something special, we want to work hard, play hard, experience as much as possible, feel loved and appreciated, give to others and it goes on and on. So where do we get lost. How does it happen that we say we like to do this or that, but haven't done so in so long? Laughing, I really am right now, because I realize that I really don't even know the answer to my own question. (Where do we go wrong) BUT there is one thing I do know. If you haven't found a way to balance your life a bit, then you will never do the things that your heart aches for. If you like to travel, hike, bike, cuddle, love, then your life needs to be balanced enough for you to allow those things to happen. The older we get, the more set in our ways we get, the less balanced we get.Me......Although I strive for balance in my life, I'm a bit tilted like everyone else.....Maybe I can find someone tilted my direction. I lean towards the outdoors. I just bought a house right on the river. I also have a cabin in the woods that I frequent....but don't get me wrong--I love the city, dancing, and the nightlife too, it's just that my heart finds itself aching for outdoors. I ride a beautiful motorcycle, love my truck, my dog, my daughter. I play the guitar, write, read, travel and would love to get to know you.Sincerely, Let's start off downtown. We can bring our own candles while we try out a few of the food carts. People won't be able to stop themselves from smiling as we dine on the fine fare. We can try a little of this and a little of that. Then we'll start walking, talking, laughing, become a part of the pulse of the city. You and I are approachable and fun. We're dressed "denim and diamond" so we can fit in anywhere. I toss my sport coat on so we can go see an art gallery's grand opening. It's not the best of art, but the people are fun and interesting and the wine is local and tasty.Somehow we find our way down to the waterfront. The breeze is nice and it gives us a chance to really talk a bit more. While we find out quite a bit more about each other here, we're not the type to start talking about our dog that died just a few months ago. We're optimistic about the future and willing to just get to know someone. It's a beautiful night out and you soon sense that the worst that could happen at this point is that the night will be engaging and easy going and you'd have met a true gentleman. We can hear the music going in one of the clubs. It's a club with a good mix of people old, young, and interesting. We both decide that we'll take a table outside so we can talk a bit more. As long as I'm dreaming up a good first date here, I might as well hope that we'd be getting along good enough for a dance. The dance floor is too full, but we're confident and having fun, so we just kind of dance a bit by our table. "It was nice meeting you."......."I enjoyed myself too"......."Maybe we can plan something outdoors next time?".......".A bikeride, hike, motorcycle ride, trip to the coast?"....."Oh Shoot......did I say I'm a little on the "Active" side of things too.Goodnight!!x.o.
