About Me

I'm quirky and loud, not shy at all. I'm usually up to try anything once. I am terribly bad at math, and it's probably the thing I hate most in my life, ha. I like to have a good time, meet new people, go to concerts and movies. I love movies(favorites would have to be We Bought a Zoo, The Departed, Shutter Island, Something Borrowed) And pop culture. I'm a self-proclaimed nerd, I love to read and learn. I studied history in college and just graduated in December. I'm a big procrastinator, but I seem to do my best work under pressure. I have a soft spot for all animals and if the history career doesn't work out, I'd probably think about working for a vet, something I did and loved in the past. I also love to cook, and think myself a pretty good one. I love thinking up new recipes to try, and I'm not gonna lie--I can make a mean taco (given the kit haha) I just thoroughly enjoy my life, I try to see the positive in everything that happens to me and try not to take things too seriously. I am thoughtful, honest, and kind and would do anything for any of my loved ones. I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm sure I will know when I find it.     Not really good at talking about myself but here it goes . I believe that you should live life to it's fullest, don't take anything for granted and that you should never have regrets. Learn from mistakes and turn a negative into a positive they are what make us who we are . I do enjoy the outdoors and will usually try anything once. I'm afraid of heights but one day would like to go sky diving just to say I did it. I'm pretty laid back and easy goingI'm a single mother but I'm independent and know how to take care of myself. I really don't care how much money you make or what you do for work so please flaunt it somewhere else. It really holds no value as to who you are as a person . But with that being said My son and I love the outdoors so in the summer we are outside as much as possible, whether it be hiking, hanging at the river , camping, fishing or whatever else we can think of. In the winter I enjoy hockey and am currently teaching my son how to skate. I'd also like to get back into snowboarding. Other than that winter consists of shoveling snow building snow men and hanging around drinking hotcocoaI do love to cook but following a recipe I find hard as Im always adding something or just don't follow it at all. For the little bit of quiet time I get reading a good book is usually how I spend it. I seem to be working alot lately and don't see it changing anytime soon as I'm thinking of going back to school for a career change .     I'm intimidated by the fear of just being "average." There's a lot of goals I want to achieve in my life and I'm very determined to do everything possible to accomplish them. I went to school for Criminology with the intentions of wanting to become a Criminal Investigator however, I got my CNA while in school and worked in a nursing home and I now think I may finish school to get my RN in the future. I live in the country and I'm not a big fan of the city life.
