I have a wide range of interests. As far as music goes I will listen to almost anything from any time period. It just depends on what mood I'm in. Hobbies vary also. I love the outdoors. I will say upfront that I am a commited member of my church and my studies there do have a large impact on my life. Also I am a sociology major but am taking one or two semester off to help my grandparents through some things. I am a server/bartender downtown currently but for the past 7 years I worked with "at risk" teenagers and I loved my job but not the small town narrow minded people I worked with and for so I took a break to do something more laid back for a bit. My work was always challenging but few things in life are more satisfying than seeing a broken person develop hope for their future and a sense of worth. I spend my off time taking life as easy as I can and enjoying every moment possible. I hang out with my kids, their friends and my friends every chance I get. When they are all busy with their life, I read, rest, walk or write. I am an open, honest and sincere person. Some people wsay to a fault. You can ask me anything you want to but when I reply just remember you asked. I DO NOT play games with people. Anything short of that is just plain immature and selfish so if you pride yourself in being a player, move along. Don't waste my time and energy. I focus on being a positive and sucessful person. I do know the difference in sucessful and wealthy. One does not make the other. Happiness comes from within. If you need my world to revolve around your's, I'm sorry, it won't. However, I will be appreciative, respectful and considerate of you as long as you allow me to. I don't have and ideal first date. A good date is one that you have fun on and makes you happy. That could happen in numerous ways.

I love coffee in the morning but wont even take a sip if it has too much milk. I once told a complete stranger he would definitely benefit from a hat. Some people interpret that as rude, but I say its unsolicited honesty. I have 2 drinks and totally feel the booze. I hate department stores and potatoes. I think we jews were meant to dance the hora and not much else. In the winter, my fingernails are always purple. I love to wear ski hats. Food is wonderful unless its eggplant or the above mentioned potatoes. I will never understand why people text message *** call. I buy the Sunday paper every week just for the crossword puzzle and I refuse to let anyone help me complete it. My kittens make me smile and I think that Pepto Bismol is the most disgusting liquid ever created.As an aside, I would love to receive e-mails from all of you who are interested in getting to know me better, but please have something more original to say than "HI"
