I enjoy all the normal things in life, good food, red wine, gardening, seeing bands, travelling, long weekends away, and relaxing nights in are but a few of the things I enjoy doing. I'm an open minded person, and am always willing to try new things, meet new people, and see new places. I'm 54, but I'm not quite sure how that happened, as I'm still 25 at heart! I've recently retired from the running of my own company, yet still keep myself busy with the overseeing other interests, have two fully grown (and moved out!) children: a 26 year old son and a 27 year old daughter. I'm hoping to meet someone warm, caring, spontaneous and fun with a great sense of humour. To me life should always be looked upon as an adventure to be enjoyed and i can't wait to have someone to hold my hand and share the journey. Probably just a drink, maybe food.

I keep re-writing this but it doesn't seem to get any better... I enjoy the cinema, reading, playing the drums (badly) and a pint of real ale in a quiet pub. I enjoy films, mostly action, thrillers and sci-fi, though I'm capable of sitting through a chick flick without complaint... I get to see live bands whenever I can, even if it's just at a pubI have an interest in the ancient world and like to see any sights while on holiday (not really into lying on a beach to get a tan) but despite this I still have the pre-requisite GSOH!Above all else I value honesty.Thanks for reading my profile.
