In my life I have been able to experience a number of opportunities that have brought joy into my life. Yes, there have been moments of sadness, but from those moments I have gained an even greater appreciation of the things and people I have been privy to along the way. Life is about enjoying all that surrounds us. Whether it's taking a stroll along the shore, exploring historical places, camping out in the woods, or just being able to share goals, ambitions and dreams with each other in a relaxed and comfortable setting.Since ***I have been an educator in the Special Education field, working in both private and public school settings, working primarily with students living with learning disabilities: helping them identify what truly frustrates them in order to develop appropriate coping strategies to overcome their weaknesses by incorporating their strengths to become productive members within their communities. I also teach Lego Robotics as part of the curriculum for all students in the classroom setting and proudly coached our school's first ever team to compete at the state level in the FIRST Lego League. In the spring, I am a head coach for our school's track & field team, which has grown from a group of less than 30 students my first year to over ***interested athletes. In the past 2 seasons I have had 4 athletes break school records. Needless to say, I like to stay active and am looking forward to participating in my first 5K this coming summer. Update: My goal was to complete one 5K. That was three races ago now. While not the fastest runner I have been able to knock off a minute with each new run.

Well, lets start off with what's most important to me. I have two daughters who are a large part of my life. They are older now and seem to have more important things happening in their lives (friends) than their Dad but I still make it a point to maintain a constant presence in their lives. When it comes time to take them out for dinner there are always three of them at the ready. My older daughter has realized the value of a free meal and has made a reappearance in my life. My younger daughter always seems to have a friend attached to her hip, hence why I always have three jumping in the car. There isn't anything i wouldn't do for my girls. I have been divorced for more years than I have fingers so that chapter of my life is well behind me along with any drama that came along with being divorced. To describe myself is pretty simple. I like to think of myself as an average guy, a nice guy, an honest guy. Nothing is ever a must with me. Having two daughters has really taught me a lesson in patients. I like to stay active. I have a lot of friends that still live in the city so I find myself downtown spending time at the street festivals or cruising around the lake on the weekends. I believe it is very important for everyone to have their own interest and hobbies and to never lose site of who they are and what's important to them. I believe I'm a very giving person and would like my partner to be the same. If I've sparked any interest I would love to hear from you.

Ok, so I find myself back on an online dating site, filling out all of these wonderful questions. I've tried online dating in the past, and feel it can work. It's a lot of work, but what the hell...right? I've read a bunch of profiles and most of them seem to share the same sentiment... women want men who don't cheat, and don't lie. Just a hint girls, most of us want the exact same thing!! My son will be 21 this year and after raising him on my own for all those years, I am finally getting used to the whole "empty nest" thing. It kind of snuck up on me and I wasn't ready at first... I think I'm finally used to it. I'd love to find someone to share the next chapter with.I am drama free and hope that you are also. We all have some type of "crap" that we can't help but bring with us... the difference is whether or not it's contained!! Hopefully I'm not coming across too jaded here...lol. I told you this online dating thing is hard work! If you're real, and looking for a relationship... and not just window shopping, say Hi and let's talk... Oh, and YES, I have a great job, a vehicle and a house (and NO, my mom doesn't live in the basement! lol)... Just in case NOT having those is a deal breaker... With this venue I think keeping it simple is important. I don't think either of us want to be stuck out at dinner with someone when we're really not feeling it... Let's get a coffee or q drink and see if there's a spark. Date two is endless with possibilities, right?
