A few things about me...I'm an educated, intelligent, logical person with lots of common sense. I prefer to stay active, though it's nice to stay inside and relax sometimes, too. My favorite foods are Italian and American types (I love a good steak and potatoes dish), though I do occasionally like to eat Mexican, Chinese, or Japanese hibachi. You will generally find me in jeans and a t-shirt with no make up and a ponytail, but I can dress up for special occasions. I like action movies, sci-fi, and romantic comedies...no horror movies. I don't care for hunting and fishing. I'm smart when it comes to saving money and being frugal, but I'm not stingy with it. Most of my money right now goes to stuff for my horse. I drive a truck and know how to work hard. I have a degree in horse care from MSU and for two years I was the barn manager for a local boarding stable. This makes for long days, but I enjoy it. I'll likely start looking for a new job again next year.A few things about what I'm looking for in a man...he should be handsome, taller than me, active, intelligent and educated. Being handy around the house or with cars doesn't hurt, either. He has to at least tolerate the fact that I'm gonna have horses for a long time. I’m not a fan of cop shows or sitcoms like Big Bang Theory. I don’t like violence and I don’t like making jokes at other peoples expense. My all-time favorite tv shows are Doctor Who and Community. I'm a big fan of music. I'll listen to most anything except for country music and contemporary Christian music. I'm not a fan of either. I can't put into words how much I loathe those two genres. Even though I don't like ccm music, I do love worship music but I'm kinda picky about that too. I don't have any favorite artist or bands but I do have favorite genres. I love classical, jazz, blues, and indie pop/rock. I also really love music from the 90's/early 00's AND music from musicals/animated films.I’m looking for short term/long term dating and possibly marriage (but that's wayyyy down the road). I don't want to put that pressure on myself or the other person to make things more serious than it actually is. I truly believe if you like someone and care for someone enough the relationship will naturally progress to something more serious. I'm also not willing to be with someone just so I have a boyfriend. I'm content with being single and being with myself. I have value without a man and I can have a fulfilling life without one. Life doesn't start when you meet your "soul-mate", it continues on.
