Hey stranger! Thanks for stopping by! Well a little about me..... I'm a single mom of an amazing little girl who is my whole world. I'm currently taking classes to become a nurse. Its never too late to make a change. For the past 15 years I've worked at a salon as a Manicurist (nail tech), doing manicures and pedicures. Don't you dare ask me to touch your feet! I don't do that on the first date! LOL... I LOVE my job and it has been very good to me, but its time for something more consistent and secure! I love taking care of people, so Nursing seems ideal! I'm Italian, so of course I can cook and LOVE IT! I enjoy being in the kitchen and outside on the grill! Bobby Flay doesn't have anything on me! LOL... I cook pretty regularly, but BIG Sunday meals are my favorite...usually pasta and meatballs and a big salad! YUMMY! I spend a lot of time with my friends and family who are extremely important to me. We are together on a regular basis...especially Sundays! I am open and honest. Communication is key to me. If its on my mind, most likely we are going to talk about it (good or bad). If you are unable to talk out the small stuff, its only going to become a bigger issue! My motto is: DEAL WITH IT AND BE DONE! WHY LET IT FESTER?! RESPECT is a MUST! Self respect, respect of others and their time and space, mutual respect....this is self explanatory! Not interested in drama...Life is too short not to enjoy it! I'm loyal, committed and dedicated! People can count on me. If I am able to do it, I will, and to my fullest. On the flip side, if I can't, I will be honest about it and usually try to help find a solution! I carry out my commitments to the very end! Dedicated to my family (always helping out), job (there regularly), school work (reading, writing, and arithmetics) and daughter (on call ***; taking care of business! I'm a pretty serious person, but like to have a good time. I enjoy playing pool even though I'm not very good at it! I'm competitive so I keep trying! I'm not a die hard sports fan, but I certainly enjoy going to sporting events...the crowds and atmosphere is great; beer and hot dogs are always a plus! I haven't claimed a team, however I'm really good at jumping on the band wagon and cheering on!! Don't know much about football, but I like Sunday football;-all good time with friends and family...I'M IN!!I like to get out and adventure! I spend a lot of time at the parks and zoos in the area. I have a pretty curious 4 year old who likes to keep busy! I am always open to new things! A little bit about me. I originally got married at an early age, in my opinion, and didn't take that time to discover the world and all it had to offer. Now that I am single I am into traveling and trying new things outside of the daily 8 to 5 grind. I have 2 kids. My son is 10 and my daughter is 8. Right now they are my world. I have them 80% of the time and when they are with me it's usually about having a good time. They are into sports so my week nights usually involve taking them to practice where ever that may be. My weekends without them are about me. I like to go out to dinner, watch movies and just enjoy someone's company. I am looking for someone laid back who likes to make people laugh, but isn't necessarily always the center of attention. I am a very giving person and will usually put others before myself but I do also like to know someone cares about me by doing little things for me to show me they care. I am big on actions. Actions definitely speak louder than words. I am looking for someone who likes to give more than to receive. I think a first date can vary from person to person. Me personally, I like to talk to someone to get to know them so dinner and a movie is usually out. The dinner part is ok, but save the movie for another day. I don't want to do the cheesy "walk on the beach" thing as a first date, but I do like it. It's a time to relax and just talk and get to know someone. I believe everyone is different on a first date than they are in real life as first impressions are everything. For me, I'm shy and it takes a while for me to open up and go with the flow. I guess when it boils down to it, a first date can be anything fun where someone's true colors can show. We can meet for coffee, or ice cream, either doesn't matter as long as it allows for conversation.
