At the age of 50, realized my life was more than half over and decided I really did not want to spend the rest of it alone. I made a huge lifestyle change--at least for me--going from years of sitting on the couch watching T.V., to exercise obsessed (esp. walking and Zumba). Now feel better than I have in years and would like to find someone active to hang out with---hopefully, a relationship will follow. Currently, I like socializing with friends, clubs, concerts, dancing, art fairs, festivals, antiques, ***'s architecture, movies, dining, wine, beer, Vikings, Twins etc. Not really into cooking, but love to eat and don't mind the clean-up. First dates are always nerve racking so I think it is nice to have dinner and a bottle of wine or a nice drink to relax and let loose and get to know each other I enjoy witty conversation and it is always nice when time flies by because you are genuinely enjoying just hearing the other person talk. I also think its important to know that awkward pauses are acceptable when meeting a new person and too much pressure always makes for an awkward evening
