I've been online dating for several years and I really have nothing bad to say about it. Sure, I've had some bad dates, but I've also made some friends and have had some great relationships. I also enjoy speed dating. What a weird world of dating we've entered into, eh? We are getting married later in life, once our careers are established. High school sweethearts seem to be a thing of the past. Which is fine by me. In high school, I didn't know who I was or what I wanted. I thought I wanted to be a standup comedian or a radio DJ. I took a run at being a radio DJ for a few years but it wasn't for me. There's something odd about talking to yourself at 3 in the morning thinking no one is listening. Well, they are. And boy do they like to talk.But the trick to making this work is making that first step. If you have read this far, we might have a shot. I seem to attract guys that I have nothing in common with. It's nice to think you'll learn something from the other person, but it also leads to a lot of conflict, especially when it comes to picking a movie, or vacation. On the plus side, I never run into my ex-boyfriends anywhere. I love the outdoors. I'm a camper, in a tent, on the ground. I can start my own fire and cut wood, but it would be nice to have a strong guy do that for me. I love watching concerts outside. There's something amazing about watching a band play while the sun goes down. Counting Crows - Road trips are another passion of mine. But don't get me wrong, I love getting on a plane and finding an adventure that way as well. Other than that, I stay sane writing, hanging out with friends, and taking pictures of my cat. Yup. I'm that girl. I clap my hands to the radio as I wait in traffic. I love to dance, and would love a salsa partner... For the dance and the food. I love nachos. So take a chance, say hello.
