About Me

OK,about me...I love having fun but work equally hard. I enjoy hanging out with my child. I work out daily, I enjoy cooking but appreciate unique restaurants, recently took up surfing and love hanging out on the beach or other water activities. I like gardening on the weekends(or at least the end result). My friends and family are a big part of my life. I truly love traveling and wish I could do it more, but a lot of times a quiet evening at home is exactly what I need. I pretty much just go with the flow. I can get along with just about anybody because people are interesting to me. I try to keep my life as drama free as possible. I am constantly on the go because I am a single parent with a fulltime career and feel a balanced social life is important. As for my goals...hmm, I am currently where I want to be career wise but am always looking for the next opportunity. I have ***year old child and do not want anymore of my own. I guess my main goal right now is raising my child the best that I can, and finding happiness in each day. What makes me unique? Aren't we all unique? Oh, think I'm supposed to pat my own back here huh? I guess I'm unique because I'm a girly girl but am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I'm handy in the kitchen but know how to light a pit. I can drink beer and play pool with the guys, or drink wine and discuss the latest fashion with the girls. I am a professional at work but have a few tattoos and piercings that show in my casual weekend wear. IDK, guess you'll have to meet me to figure out the rest. Interesting they put "taste in music" in the profile. I always have the radio going! I can't sing and do not play an ***, but I love music. I listen to a variety of artists and genre's. A few of my favorite artists are G. I like old country and classic rock n roll. Bring on the Indie rock, Dub step, and hip hop. Probably easier to say what I don't like...I don't listen to a lot of country,classical, zydeco, or jazz. I do not enjoy rap at all! Well I think that will do it. Gotta keep something to talk about on the date... If you like pina colada, getting caught in the rain...No,seriously I'm pretty easily entertained and am just looking forward to meeting someone with common interests. We'll figure out what to do on our first date when the time comes.

    I am a fairly outgoing girl who enjoys hanging out with my friends on the weekends either going out for dinner and drinks or enjoying a nice bottle of wine at home while cooking dinner with my friends or family and just relaxing. I have 3 young nephews who I adore and are a big part of my life so any chance I have to spend with them I take it :) I love going out to see music concerts but I prefer it when it's a smaller venue, I like seeing a band before they make it big but I don't mind if it's a big crazy concert either. Being by a lake or a beach in the summer is ideal for me, either that or sitting on a patio enjoying the sun.. I tried snowboarding a few years ago and I hope to get into it again this year. I have a snowboard that I've barely used so I'd like to make use of it soon :)I lived overseas for a few years and really like to travel. I think it broadens your horizons and if I could afford it or afford the time off of work I would travel more often..I enjoy going on road trips, I think it's fun getting out of town even if it's just a mini holiday, being spontaneous never hurt anyone :) I love to laugh but really who doesn't!. I'm not into the negative stuff, no drama needed! Men with bedazzled t-shirts need not apply. I have zero interest in getting to know someone who is dishonest or full of themselves. I don't necessarily have a "type". Everyone says, a sense of humour is a big turn on and I agree. If a guy can make me laugh it's a good start.
