I was dreaming last night....dreaming like I always do, except this time someone else was in my dream. He had a nice smile and was a strong, honest person with good values. We had an intelligent conversation about business and pleasure, and I remember laughing. We both just felt comfortable with each other, even just watching the sunset in silence - no pressure. We were talking about music too. Then a piano came out of nowhere and I played him a tune. :) I think we went running a little bit after that and I was telling him how much I like to travel and do a variety of different things. I love Europe (Venezia & Bavaria!..went there for various reasons the last three years. I would love to go skiing in the Alps (Selva- Anyways, I was telling him that I love being involved in different things and being outdoors but I also like to just relax, watch movies by the fire, and sleep in. Love animals too..and would like more than fish someday. Absolutely love huskies, labs, goldens, and Portuguese water dogs. Oh yeah, and I'll always be a mountain girl. l do love snow but the sea calls me...just can't get enough of the beach! We were also talking about how much we both love our family and friends and respect that no one is perfect. Flexibility and communication is very important too. These days society tries to mold and dictate relationships with overworking, the media, and materialistic pressures. I believe in using the gifts that each person is given to work hard and make a difference in this world by helping others, while also making sure you have time for plenty of fun with those you love and give you happiness. He agreed with me and then I woke up. Life is as short as my dream so I want to use my time wisely but hope to hear from him again very soon. Carpe Diem! A nice first date could be anything we agree on really. I'm pretty easy-going. Maybe a restaurant or cafe where we could meet and talk or even hitting the slopes or walking along the beach. I like surprises for the most part too but probably not jumping out of planes or something like that.

    I've been online dating for several years and I really have nothing bad to say about it. Sure, I've had some bad dates, but I've also made some friends and have had some great relationships. I also enjoy speed dating. What a weird world of dating we've entered into, eh? We are getting married later in life, once our careers are established. High school sweethearts seem to be a thing of the past. Which is fine by me. In high school, I didn't know who I was or what I wanted. I thought I wanted to be a standup comedian or a radio DJ. I took a run at being a radio DJ for a few years but it wasn't for me. There's something odd about talking to yourself at 3 in the morning thinking no one is listening. Well, they are. And boy do they like to talk.But the trick to making this work is making that first step. I'm that girl. I clap my hands to the radio as I wait in traffic. I love to dance, and would love a salsa partner... For the dance and the food. I love nachos. So take a chance, say hello.
