Been on here for awhile now but finally decided to redo this whole thing so here it goes..... I am a single father of 4 kids, my son lives outside of home in another city, my oldest daughter who lives with her mom is set to graduate this year, then there are my youngest two of which I have sole custody of. They all come first and foremost, as I know most everyone else's kids do. Home life here for us is consumed by work, school (for them that is), and church. We are very active within our church going to bible School and service on Sunday and bible study /youth group on Wednesday's, and I am involved in a life group outside of church on Sunday nights. But i do work days there so nights are mainly free other than being with my kids. They do get to see their mom but it is only limited visitation, so as you can see I have my kids virtually all the time and time away can at times be hard to come by, but is achievable. As for other interest, we are still trying to get out to go camping. Once in a while I get out to go to a concert , I enjoy seeing smaller bands and local acts. I'm not much of a drinker so I don't do the bar scene much if any anymore unless a band is playing there. I still have my motorcycle license but have yet to a bike, which I really want someday. So as for what I'm searching for on here and am hoping to find, is someone to talk to and see where it goes, I hope to find someone who is a good conversationalist and can hold my attention or be able to force a conversation from me (I can be quiet at times). Would like to find someone who's a God fearing woman. Hopefully whomever she be will also like some of the same likes as me but not all...being exactly like me would be boring and no room for trying new things. So I know this is vague, but if it sparks your interest feel free to say hello and lets see where it goes a small quiet diner, coffee shop or whatnot....somewhere where we can sit and talk and not worry too much about distractions and get to know eachother

Dating is tough, however, I'm up for the challenge!Knowing what my competition is like out there I now don't consider myself your "average" guy. "Average," would mean the kind of guy who doesn't desire a long-term relationship, which I definitely do. I have heard about the dating nightmares from some of my correspondence here on meetville. Wow! I sympathize with what women have to go through! And trust me, most guys wouldn't recognize a good woman if they were standing right there in front of them - but I want to assure you, I can. Personally, I think I have the whole package to offer and that's why I'm willing to wait for that someone special. I love my family, I have great friends (most of them are married), and I have a great job. (I love my job!) I'm just missing that one piece in my life...My personal interests include, but are not limited to, traveling, heading to the shore, wine tasting, cooking, watching movies, hiking, camping, playing softball, and skiing. I think this question would be more appropriate if it asked, "Describe what you would do on a SECOND date." First dates are best kept simple, like meeting up for a drink - be it coffee, tea, beer or an adult drink, and as long as the atmosphere isn't too quiet and has a bit of an ambiance. Second date...is a different story. I'll surprise you. :)
