I am inspired by many different things in life - my goal is to experience as much of this life as I can. So far I feel that I have done pretty well. I do love to travel and would love to share that with someone who is as intrigued by life as I am. I really enjoy meeting new people and creating more relationships in my life. I find the on line experience to be a bit challenging but want to give it a chance. I am looking for a real, honest, kind, mutual respectful relationship. I enjoy hiking and kayaking or dinner parties with friends. Friends and people that meet me for the first time describe me as kind, open and honest. I am looking for the same in a partner. I am ultimately looking for a long term relationship and love the idea of taking it slow and really getting to know one another before getting too serious - life is already too serious lets help to ease the intensity of this life. I look forward to sharing more fun and laughter and enjoyment of this world with someone special. I believe that life can be a joyous experience even in the challenges. cup of coffee and a chat.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that this thing they call "DATING" is for sans kids singles or non-custodial parents. Well, I guess it depends on your situation and whether or not you separate your adult life from your child's life. I am one of those mommies who is not wanting to be in that "This is your uncle this week!" category. If you happen to be a single dad who doesn't welcome your children into the revolving door of your love life then CONGRATULATIONS for putting your kids first and being the rare exception to the rule. Nothing wrong with introducing your kids to a significant other when the time is right or the situation is appropriate. But "Hey kids, this is Bambi and she is spending the weekend with us" just seems a bit tacky to me. But there are a few overnight visitations with either grandma or dad. And mommy does get a bit of me time now that she is in preschool for 4 afternoons a week. So I guess I could start scheduling lunch dates or mid-afternoon coffee house dates M-Th say sometime between 12:***pm. I am trying to get used to having this me time, but find that 3 hours goes by in a ***, that is my big disclaimer as it seems nearly impossible for me to be available to date at the drop of a hat. It takes some planning in advance to make sure it jibes with the visitation schedule or I can find a sitter. But for right now I think it is better to put myself in that boring, just looking for friends for now category. I am just being honest and not going to blow any smoke up anyone's butt. I am really pretty set in my ways and know what I like and don't like. I like going out to try new hobbies, experiencing new cuisine or checking out a band I've never heard before. I don't mind the bar scene now and again to do karaoke or listen to live music. I would even like to do one of those trivia nights. But I rarely drink these days due to finding I get a tad more tipsy than I would like. I like walks in the park, bowling, going to the movies, shooting pool and visiting art museums. Aside from playing in the park with my kid, dancing, the occasional aquacize class and tennis just for fun I rarely get my heart rate elevated for optimal fitness. Just not much of an exercise enthusiast, but know I should force myself to do more physical activity. I am a couch potato most evenings, and should just say In a Relationship with HBO as my *** Yes, I admit I am a bit of social media whore. But wean off what I call the facecrastination. So if all that brutal honesty hasn't bored the crap out of you, then please do hit me up for the initial e-mail conversation and "Let's Do Coffee" sorta deal. Late morning or early afternoon to meet up at a cafe or pub. Then we can do something fun and even active like a stroll thru a park or perhaps bowling. Tennis? I can't play very well, but like just the back and forth over the net. I love going to the movies, but that isn't the best for a first date as you can't really talk. Art museum would be a great first date as well.

I am a good hearted woman looking for a good hearted man. I like someone with a good sense of humor like mine =) as I live to laugh and have fun. I like someone who is quick witted (like me) and can carry a good convo and keep me laughing. When it comes to the serious side of life, I handle my business and would like someone who can handle theirs as well. I like to go out dancing (someone not afraid to cut a rug is extra nice), go out and see a band, karaoke, dinner, comedy shows, concerts, casino, go see a movie or just stay home and snuggle up watching a movie with that someone special. I want someone who knows how to treat a lady and wants trust and mutual respect. Someone willing to cook a nice romantic dinner once in a while NEVER hurts either =)(And it would be reciprocated, of course) I love to sing and write poetry and aspire to write for Hallmark someday =) My taste in music is classic rock, some metal, 80's hairbands, club music to dance to, love songs and even a little bit of country. I love interior design and watch alot of those types of shows on TLC. I am a creative spirit and have a knack for cutting and styling hair (my mom has been a hairdresser for 35 yrs). Two and a Half Men is my all time favorite show. I also like shows like Forensic Files, Dancing With The Stars, American Idol/X Factor and The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I am friendly, funny, honest and sincere and a true friend. These are qualities I admire in someone. I'm not into skinny guys (that's kind of getting picky, huh ?...yeah buddy !!! =) Message me only if you are unmarried and are not looking for a casual encounter. Also, please be within my age range....sorry guys...my preference. I don't respond to people without a pic. If you have a pic of your dog, motorcycle, car, etc...I don't respond to those either. This IS a dating website :) I really hate headgames/drama. I am looking for someone who knows what he wants and is not a serial dater/ player so please don't waste my time or yours....life is short and I always chose to spend my time having alot of fun. I need a man who wants to be my best friend first and develop a good foundation to build a relationship on. The ideal first date would be coffee and good convo. Just break the ice and get to know each other to see if there is any chemistry. After we hit it off, probably a nice dinner and drinks or any of the above mentioned things...the sky's the limit really (anything but sky diving or bunji jumping...nope not goin there LOL)
