Hi there! Thanks for dropping in to read my profile =) I live in the Barrie area, and have for the past 17 years. I am originally from the small town up north, which is where I believe I developed my love for nature and the outdoors.Growing up, I played hockey for 7 years but unfortunately had to stop playing once I started working full-time. Even though I don't have time to play on a league anymore, I still love going out skating or having a scrimmage with some friends on outdoor rinks during the winter. I have also always had a passion for animals... basically any type, but especially dog. I recently completed the Community & Justice Services program at Georgian College, and am currently working as a Residential Support Worker with adults who have developmental disabilities. I also volunteer on a Youth Justice Committee working with young offenders and their families. As for my personality - I am a very simple, laid-back, down to earth, and compassionate person. I am very sincere and friendly, but can also be shy at times. I don't like the club or bar scene - I'd much rather sit with a bunch of friends and have a couple beers. I daydream of traveling the world one day, staying active, having fun, and creating something new. If there is something that stands out about me, I'd let the other person be the judge on that. Right now, I am finishing up grad school so I'm hoping to have my social life back in a matter of months. I'm a huge animal lover so don't ask me to pick my favorite. Hey there. I read anything from a romance to a thriller, to horror, to biographies etc.!!!! I love going for hikes and walks. Swimming is amazing! I love mangoes and avocados and strawberries. I could live off of seafood! Music is good. The old stuff is way better then the new. Classic rock, 40's and 50's soda shop songs are the bomb! I even enjoy some of the newer stuff.
