About Me

I recently graduated with my degree in counseling psychology. I have two great jobs which I enjoy. Some might classify me as a psychotic overachiever at all these things, but I prefer motivated and dedicated?! Work and working out take up a lot of time for me but relaxing or letting loose is a must have in my life. This can come in the form of backyard BBQ's, going for drinks, getting all dolled up and going out on the town for the night, or kickin' it in sweats while watching a movie... and am always up for a new challenge. I love to travel, my desire to travel sparked from a 6 week long trip to Africa in which I saw 5 countries. Seeing the wonders the world has to offer fueled my passion.I would say most describe me as extremely outgoing, driven, caring, motivated, athletic, and responsible. I want someone I can be myself with (no makeup and all), laugh at ourselves and eachother. Someone who is smart and has aspirations for what they want in life. Someone I can talk to for hours but we can also sit in silence comfortably. Someone I can hike a mountain with, in this country or another, but can also enjoy a lazy day. Well first off, I love food. The saying "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach"...also applies to me :)However I love getting out and doing something on a date. Whether it's a walk down town, taking a drive up the Monument, hiking, take on the aqaurium or zoo, anything that gives us a chance to talk and get to know each other in a less formal setting. I'm always in to try new things, I might look a little freaked out but don't mind the facial expression I'll drive in and try it, minus super spicy foods (not really my thing).

    So I've been on this site for a better part of 3 years I believe (long enough anyway)... But so far, all that has come from this site are men who lie about themselves, what they are truely looking for and their intentions. I want to change that!! About me:Well first off, I'm a single mother of a beautiful baby. It's just the two of us since day 1 (absolutely no "baby daddy" drama). This child is my world and will ALWAYS be my #1 priority for as long as I live. So any man who wants to be with me, MUST show a warm, compassionate heart because we are 2 for 1 deal. With that being said.. I am HIGHLY independent and have been, even before I had my child and I feel I have a good handle on our life. I have a very rewarding and successful career... and I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT! It definately helps that I work with some of Charletson's most amazing chefs. Also because I'm so "artsy", so it is definately an art where I can show my creative side (and it tastes pretty awesome, too).I'm a huge foodie so I love to go out to try new restaurants and I enjoy the mixology scene. Nothings better than a great dinner and great****ails! I especially love exotic cuisines.I am sort of an adrenaline junkie. I love rollar coasters and motorcycles. I hope one day I could go sky diving or bungee jumping. I just love having a great time and want to find someone to spend it with. I'm a very goofy person (but I can be serious when the situation calls for it). I like knowing that I can make someone smile or laugh, even if it's something silly I've said unintentionally. I'm also a tad clumsy. An unfamiliar room with lots of furniture in the dark can be life threatening at times :)I love music! All varieties, but my absolute favorite is 90's. It was a great decade. I'm also a fan of the oldies and recently the british invasion bands. I believe that what makes me one of a kind is that I'm extremely compassionate. If I like someone, they will know. If I care about someone, it will show. I am a very open person and I feel that honesty is always important. I would always tell you how I feel, what I think, and I would hope that whomever I'm with, is the same. I may sugar coat desserts but I don't sugar coat life. I'm very understanding becuase I've been through some crazy things in my short life so you'd be suprised of how much I can truely understand. I'm also a firm believer that the past is the past so it should stay there and you should live in the present and hope for the future.About You:I'm basically looking for a man who actually acts like a man. Who has his head on straight and can hold a conversation. We don't necessarily have to have ALL the same interests but some would make for a good glue for a relationship. I want a man who is also compassionate but also very passionate ;)He has to be funny and witty.. I can dish out some sarcasm like no one's business (I do work in a kitchen with all men) And even a man who isn't offended by my crass humor (again, kitchens are full of perverted humor). But I am a woman so I may be able to hang like one of the guys but always treat me like a lady ;) I'm not opposed to PDA. I am VERY attracted to TALL MEN (6 foot or taller) and cleanly kept facial hair. (Think lumberjack.... yeah... not a fan. And just something I've learned over the years.. I'm not too attracted to hispanic men, or asian men. On that note.. if you feel like we could get along alright, message me. Or even if you just want to grab a drink sometime! (I do get my free time) I love suprises.. just no movies unless it's paired with food, drinks, and great conversation afterwards.

    i have a beautiful baby girl(1yr old and married but i am separated....My hobbies are cross stitching and writing. I love to camp and fish! My goal is to get my GED and get my teaching degree.
