Hi there! Thanks for dropping in to read my profile =) I live in the Barrie area, and have for the past 17 years. I am originally from the small town up north, which is where I believe I developed my love for nature and the outdoors.Growing up, I played hockey for 7 years but unfortunately had to stop playing once I started working full-time. Even though I don't have time to play on a league anymore, I still love going out skating or having a scrimmage with some friends on outdoor rinks during the winter. I have also always had a passion for animals... basically any type, but especially dog. I recently completed the Community & Justice Services program at Georgian College, and am currently working as a Residential Support Worker with adults who have developmental disabilities. I also volunteer on a Youth Justice Committee working with young offenders and their families. As for my personality - I am a very simple, laid-back, down to earth, and compassionate person. I am very sincere and friendly, but can also be shy at times. I don't like the club or bar scene - I'd much rather sit with a bunch of friends and have a couple beers. Hi! I'm just your average college grad with a heart of gold, resorting to the interwebs to find new friends :) In other news, I am completely obsessed with music and books! I also play a few ***, violin, mandolin... basically anything with strings). As far as movies are concerned, I really can't pick just one favorite. I love all genres but a few of my favorites are: anything made by Will Ferrell (Anchorman, Talledega Nights, Elf... There are so many great places that I want to go and so much of the world that I have to see! I am a teacher of the Deaf and I love it with all of my heart! My life is going really well at the moment. I love to have fun and make people laugh. I'm super sarcastic and hope to meet someone that can take it.What am I looking for? First friends, someone to talk to and get to know. Someone that shares some of my interests and is open to sharing new things. If something more develops, awesome!
