Hi there! Thanks for dropping in to read my profile =) I live in the Barrie area, and have for the past 17 years. I am originally from the small town up north, which is where I believe I developed my love for nature and the outdoors.Growing up, I played hockey for 7 years but unfortunately had to stop playing once I started working full-time. Even though I don't have time to play on a league anymore, I still love going out skating or having a scrimmage with some friends on outdoor rinks during the winter. I have also always had a passion for animals... basically any type, but especially dog. I recently completed the Community & Justice Services program at Georgian College, and am currently working as a Residential Support Worker with adults who have developmental disabilities. I also volunteer on a Youth Justice Committee working with young offenders and their families. As for my personality - I am a very simple, laid-back, down to earth, and compassionate person. I am very sincere and friendly, but can also be shy at times. I don't like the club or bar scene - I'd much rather sit with a bunch of friends and have a couple beers. I am new to the area and want to get out and have fun. I grew up farming, so the "city" life is quite an adjustment.I'm currently working to go back to school next fall, as I just graduated from WSU this summer.I enjoy doing outdoor activities in all of the seasons, and reading when I have down time.
