Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I am a very happy, positive and upbeat person and live my life by the glass is half full theory. I have chosen a career that I love that affords me the ability to help others and to utilize my mind. I am divorced and have a 14 year old daughter that lives with me full time (99% of the time). I am not an adventuresome person in the sense I will not be doing sky diving anytime soon (terrified of heights), but I am always willing to try new things to a certain degree. I have a very small family and have friends that have become family and I do enjoy spending time with them as I feel we all need our time to ourselves. I think it helps us to appreciate the time when we are away from our significant other and creates a desire to be with them even more. What I am looking for...a stable, like minded person that is content in his life and looking to date to see where it might lead. I am not looking for hang out or a casual relationship. I would like to meet that person that starts out as a friendship with hopes of progression to a more meaningful relationship. I do need to be with a person that is not afraid to communicate and that can hold an intelligent conversation. I feel communication is key in a relationship, good or bad. I was raised in a very small town; however, I am a city girl at heart, but value both. I do take care of myself and my general attire is jeans, blouse and flats, which is what I am comfortable in. I own dresses and heels and know when to wear them! I am not in the gym everyday and only go because there comes a point in life where you have to exercise to remain healthy. I am not a stick thin girl, nor will I ever be, I definately have curves; however, am very secure and confident with myself and in my body image, so if you are looking for the thin, model type, then I probably am not the girl for you. I actually eat on dates and enjoy doing so. I love a great dinner with a glass of wine.I also believe in treating each other with respect and kindness.
