At this point in my life, I just really want to find someone who I can enjoy life with and who doesn't create a lot of drama. It would be great to meet someone who likes to workout, laugh often and who can enjoy the simple things in life. I'm independent and want to find someone who appreciates that part of me. I consider myself more of a homebody than a partier, but I do like to go out on occasion. I'd prefer to go to sporting events over a bar and I prefer activities such as hiking, biking and working out. I try to stay active as much as possible but I do like to get my 8 hours of sleep each night if possible. I enjoy all types of music but find myself listening mostly to country and pop. I've accomplished a lot of things in my life but the one thing that has eluded me thus far is a lasting, healthy relationship.     Came here start up a business with a friend who seemed interested in his business idea until I got here. Once I arrived I discovered his health wasn't that great and he wasn't that interested or motivated to do the business after all. So there's no reason to stay in this boring town. They seem to have a broader, world perspective that a lot of Americans lack. Like most people I'm looking for someone who I can share common experiences and interests with. The most important thing about a first date is that we have a chance to talk and get to know each other so going to a movie or a concert probably wouldn't provide the best opportunity for a lot of conversation. I think perhaps going out for a drinks and appetizers followed by viewing a new show at a gallery would be fun. Or meeting for dinner or coffee and a walk in an interesting area of town (hope there are interesting areas in town). It's not so important what the itinerary is but that there is an opportunity for conversation.
