I love to be surprised and to surprise. That is a quality of God that amazes me - how unpredictable and challenging a walk with Him can be. I love to laugh... When I taught third grade, a student next door said she could not wait for the following year because she always heard laughter through the wall. Some of my favorite moments are special times with those I'm close to: I value the thoughtfulness put into the planning of an occasion more than its actual cost and the effort put into choosing or making a gift more than its monetary value. I love words beautifully put together in a book, music that makes one feel wistful, and color.I love the outdoors whether it be riding my bike, or a walk by the ocean (reminding me of how all-powerful God must be), or hiking, soaking in the smells and the feels of the outdoors. Those are the times I especially wish to share with someone but school work and a small church do not lend themselves to meeting new people...I value faithfulness and loyalty, and believe that these qualities can only be taught by example. Kindness is of great value to me: the kind of selfless kindness that seeks nothing in return. More than any other qualities, I'm looking to meet a born-again Christian man who truly knows God, seeks His reality and wants to serve Him to the uttermost. He must have some intensity about him, a drive to be and do what God would have for him, a desire to look for a challenge in his life. Church involvement plays a big role in my life, and similarity of belief is important to me - I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just too hard to fit two lives together if faith differences are too great. I know this is a lot to ask, but I believe God is the One who fulfills our desires if they glorify Him... I would enjoy a cup of coffee and a good talk - casual enough not to feel awkward, lenghty enough to find out what the other person is like.
