I'll update this a little and put the bomb shell on here.. I recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and will be going through treatments until the end of this year.. I'm trying to continue on through life and still get out there and meet people.. I don't expect to find the love of my life here but you never know if you don't try, so I'm trying.. I'm not any less hopeful for my future and don't think that having this cancer should stop me from living life, having fun and meeting people!!! My friends would describe me as an outgoing, outspoken, fun and care free girl.. I would say I'm a little shy and stand offish until you get to know me, then I tend to agree with what my friends say.. but I've been walked on by too many people and have decided that, those who take the time to get to know the real me are better friends in the long run... :-)I'm very open and very honest.. sometimes that's a great thing and sometimes it's not.. but on a dating site, I think being open and honest will be to everyone's benefit.. Well lets see now......the fairytale (realistic version)....I am always looking for new things to try but would like to have someone to try them with....a companion, a best friend, someone to enjoy the present and the future. We all have our pasts and even though I have learned many many lessons, my past doesn't define who I am, it simply gives me hope for better things to come. I love to travel and have a bit of an obsession with the ocean. I have recently ventured into the world of photography and have found a love for history and nature. I love to cook and bake and I can grill up a mean steak!! I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and believe the more the merrier, especially when there's a football game on! I will admit that football is the only sport I follow....maybe obsess over a little (i'm a total cheesehead)...but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching others. I like cuddling up to watch a movie but also find it invigorating to spend a few hours in the gym or bouncing a ball around on the tennis courts. I've even attempted golf! I love kids, it just hasn't been in the cards for me to have my own. I do have my two boys tho...my boxer and my lab. I'm a very independent and sometimes stubborn woman but if you get past my rough exterior you will find an amazing and devoted heart and soul. :) I love to laugh and can be quite the charming goofball even though I tend to be a bit clumsy. I am laid back but blunt to a fault sometimes. What you see is what you get! All I ask for is mutual respect, honesty and the ability to communicate. I don't want to go on and on because I believe some things are much better discovered over dinner or drinks or maybe even a little competitive miniature golf!! :) I want to b able to carry on a conversation.
