Hi! I'm a single, attractive, gainfully employed female who is willing to try a more unconventional way of meeting that special someone. I'm an Aries with a Type-A personality, bold and sassy at times, who likes things to be in order. That doesn't mean I can't let things go for a spur-of-the-moment activity or adventure on occasion. I love music and live music is best. I find slow dancing romantic, along with moonlit walks and sitting outside watching the stars. I'm a bit of a dreamer and feel anything is possible if you try hard enough. I love reading books (currently reading "Bared to You") and try to spend time journaling each day - although some days are just too busy. There is so much I want to do in this lifetime! I have two small dogs and one cat, who are sure to exercise me every day at least once..so that helps keep me in shape. I also like to visit the gym 3 times a week to stay healthy. As for my job, well it's full-time and second shift. Kinda hard to meet someone when I'm working most evenings... In a man, I am attracted to someone assertive, well-groomed, who has manners and is looking for something lasting. The rest...well, I guess I will know it when I find him. Some things we just can't package into a little box. That's what makes life interesting, right? First dates should be intimate, yet not too private. I would like a chance to get to know my date and carry on a conversation without having to yell. Maybe have a quiet dinner or some drinks in an intimate restaurant or bar.

    Semi-retired with to much spare time on my hands. Looking to venture out, see who and what is there in this part of the country. Wide variety of music genres, but the older I get , I find myself really enjoying bands/songs that I was enthralled by in the '80's. I know, showing my age. Aerosmith continues to be an all time favorite.     Hi guys! Really this should be simple: I'm just a normal gal looking for a normal guy. Let me start by talking a little about the guy I'm looking for: I tend to be attracted to the clean-cut kind of guy - either kind of geeky or sporty (a combination of the two would be ideal). I'm not looking for a "bad boy" or a biker - although if you ride, it's not a deal breaker. I tend to go for guys who are intelligent, but also would enjoy a day at the ball park. Not into the bar/club scene to meet people - although I do like to occasionally go dancing and/or go out for drinks. Personality wise, I'm a positive, bubbly, outgoing gal who has a tremendously big heart (and tend to wear it on my sleeve). I like to think of the glass as "half full" and not sweat the small stuff. I have my teaching degree and taught first grade for awhile, but now I work at a daycare as the one year old teacher. My interests include outdoor activities (swimming, camping, boating, catching some rays), dinner or drinks out, comedy clubs, or dancing, as well as cuddling on the couch watching a good movie...and YES, I like to watch sports if my significant other is into that (Go Tigers!). I have two teenage daughters ***& ***so you'd have to be ok with that. Give me a chance - you may be pleasantly surprised.**Update: recently started eating better and working out again. Working on a lifestyle change, not just another diet. It comes off a lot more slowly than it goes on!!! :-)Some have asked why does my profile say "dating" vs. "LTR" - eventually I would love to be in a LTR, but I would never jump into one without getting to know that person a bit first...and that takes dating. BTW - not interested in the dating anyone younger than ***thanks, I'm flattered, but that's not really me. PS - if I look at your profile and don't contact you, but you think we may have some things in common, feel free to contact me. (Not interested in anyone under the age of ***thanks though!) I think a first date should be fairly short and be located where my date and I could actually talk and get to know one another a bit. BUT I'm generally up for a lot of different things.
