Hey! Thanks for stopping by!Well, I am on this site to try something new and stem out from my normal social scene. (not that it's bad by any means...I just want to meet some people with different interests). I would consider myself a constantly evolving and optimistic person. By day, I'm a nerdy scientist. I wear a lab coat and safety glasses, and spend my days mixing solutions and prepping samples. I work as an Analyst in a toxicology laboratory, and I absolutely love it. I guess I'm a bit of a science geek, and I love being surrounded by my ridiculous coworkers. (I swear they could base a show around the things that are said behind closed doors) I also love the fact that I learn something new every day, and that I have access to some incredibly brilliant people in my field. That being said, I would actually prefer a partner who works in a completely different field. You can only talk about beakers and pipets for so long....By night, I'm a laid back type of girl. I love to laugh and get to know people. I love cooking, going to movies and having coffee with friends. I'm more comfortable talking one on one, and I prefer an intimate atmosphere rather than a nightclub. I'm an art lover, and I support the art community any way I can. I'm also really into running and cycling, and I do a lot of races throughout the year. I'm constantly working on myself physically, and I take my health very seriously. I'll never be a tiny stick of a woman....so if that's what you want....don't waste your time--or mine for that matter. I'm a healthy "curvy" body type, and I like how I look. I don't really have a body type that I look for in a man, but I do have a thing for dark hair and blue eyes.So, what am I looking for? Well, I have had a lot of good and bad experiences dating over the years. Luckily, the good has outweighed the bad, and I'm open to a new relationship. I've been single for a while now, and I'm very ready to bring someone new into my life. I am looking for someone who lives a healthy lifestyle and likes to do more than play video games. I love photography and going to nature preserves and Gardens. I take care to buy natural foods when I can afford it. And besides smoking I do my best to take care of my health. I won't give up my kitties for anythingJust to sort of clear the air, I'll be honest with y'all, I have degerative joint disease in my lower spine, it doesn't stop me, but it does limit my activities. I can't bowl, hike, rock climb, dancing would put me in serious pain, pretty much anything that puts strain on the legs or spine (nerves branch out from the lower spine into your legs) Most days it's painful just to walk. So Im unable to work.A lot of guys just stop talking when they find out. So, I saved those type of guys that are looking for someone perfect some trouble. All of you out there who aren't so shallow, I'd like to hear from you. Even if we don't hit it off for dating, a person can never have too many friends. Talk to you soon! Nothing expensive.
