HI THERE!!!!So if your reading this you have made it past the first stage you like what you see which is ME!! Next step read on and see if my personality is a fit. So here goes a quick synopsis of ME. I am 44 and am comfortable with my age kinda think of it as a badge of honor... I am quirky, funny, sarcastic, and very self-deprecating. My friends like to admit I am funny but tell me no one thinks I am funnier than me.....which is true I think I am hilarious, and will laugh at all of my own stupid jokes. Favorite movie Shawshank Redemption, but also enjoy psychological thrillers, comedies, and action flicks.I play video games, enjoy sci-fi. Love to be outdoors, hiking, swimming, rollerblading. Enjoy travelling and recently became a PADI certified scuba diver. Can't wait to go again. Love all genres of music but the 80's are favorite from the punk, to alternative to hair bands to the bubble gum pop I am addicted. Hope this gives a idea of who I am.

For many years I thought I had life figured out, then curve ball after curve ball came my way. I always tell my kids, you always have a choice, you may not like the choices but you still have a choice. I chose to move forward and try to make the best of things. I enjoy working out, when I have the time. Taking a yoga class, zumba class or some boxing is actually fun. The work is trying to find the time to go. There are many things I like to do but I don't think they are hobbies. I love movies, going on walks, trying new things and living life to the fullest. I am curently going through some career changes but my goal is to find something I look forward to doing every day. I love a wide array of music and basically only draw the line at polka but with a beer or two even polka sounds good. I have done the 20's drinking years, 30's child bearing years, and a long marriage. I am looking for trying new things but very much enjoy nights at home as well. Is there someone out there that thinks we could be a good fit? I haven't been on a first date for 17 years. I think the main thing for me is a plan. I don't want to do the, where do you want to go, what should we do.... Secondly, even if you don't think we will hit it off, at least listen and treat me well. Be kind, talk with me and for goodness sakes, look me in the eyes. I think I would want my first date to be at a park (biking, hiking, walking, talking) and dinner at someplace out of the ordinary like a little known cafe or mom/pop place.
